What if I leave my DRK in a really old wallet version, will I lose my DRK after wallet update? If so, that would be very disconcerning as it means that I will have to keep checking threads like these to make sure I update in time. I have about 10k DRK sitting in a 1 month old wallet. Will my dark remain safe in there forever? Does anyone know?

It'll be fine if you open up the wallet but I wouldn't send any Dark before checking for the latest wallet version. Most updates just add features, rarely are there forks. But with that much BTC invested in any coin I would always practice safety and check for new wallet upgrades. Takes 2 minutes of your time.

as long as you backup your wallet.dat you will be fine, the amount of coins your public address have is recorded in the blockchain (which every user running the synced client have a copy of), and the private key to prove that said public address is yours is stored in your wallet file.

Would it be at all possible/beneficial to add i2p to the client like anoncoin is doing? I think i2p + coinjoin would deliver superb anonymity.

Might be jumping the gun here but it would be great to set up the first DarkSend transaction between two users. The media love stories about people buying unusual things with BTC. If we could show someone buying something anonymously with Darkcoin, it could get some traction. Maybe a concert ticket to a high-profile band?

Im assuming most people on here are from the US. Someone in the US could buy the ticket and sell it to another user over there. Im not from the land of the free so I cant

I think they're still together, tassles and all. But I was thinking Rolling Stones-size profile. Nothing is too big for this coin! They don't need to be involved - it's just a transaction after all.

I don't have the technical background to understand a Sybil Attack. Could someone explain this to me and if it negatively impacts DarkCoin's future at all? Might end up being nothing but I would like to know.

This is great. Pretty much confirms that "smalltimeminer" got ~ 90k DRKs during the initial release. Which also confirms that the exchange hack was far more damaging to DRK prices since release .....
