    Anyway, once again I apologise to anybody who I have offended.  My post was badly phrased and I did not want to offend anybody who is genuinely experiencing issues.  I just don't understand why somebody with coins/money at stake would rather post here without bothering to report it to the proper place too.

    Its like coming into work to find your PC has a problem, posting your problem on Facebook and not bothering to ring your helpdesk.

    EDIT:  I have suggested on Darkcointalk that people over there who spend time on here are extra vigilant to log issues that are being reported here but not there. 

    The official advice remains that if you have an issue please consider reporting it on Darkcointalk otherwise you risk it not being identified and fixed.

    I don't think that is what is being said -- people are saying that you may not find the help you need here. Your right Evan may have some updates tomorrow, but likely if you stick to these forums your issues will never be solved.  If you don't want to sign up to those forums then at least open a direct dialog with Evan on irc or via mail.

    My problem is that this thread is so busy that people's bugs/issues can be lost several pages back and that the only reliable way to get a problem fixed is to follow the formal approach to report a bug.

    No your problem is that you don't want people to hear about these bugs with RC4.  Nobody but the cheerleaders go to darkcointalk, everyone else comes here.  You guys want to paint a picture of a perfect RC4 rollout.  Well it doesn't exist.  There are problems and the fact that they are random and occur on different platforms makes them even more problematic.  Who know what else is waiting to happen and when.  This isn't testnet anymore. People are going to update and have real money at stake.  Yet there isn't any official information or assistance being given out on this forum with the most traffic.  Go back to your utopia on darkcointalk and talk about how everything is great and working perfectly while the majority of people see whats actually going on.  The market knows what's going on that's for sure.

    I believe that you can also log bug reports directly on Jira without having to engage with IRC or the devs or even sign up to darkcointalk.

    No worries you seem to be the voice of reason around here atm. This forum is so active that it is a terrible place to get help. If folks really do want help, head over into irc or darkcointalk where help is more readily available and won't get buried under all the garbage, swearing and infighting so prevalent around here lately. Seriously this place is no fun anymore.

    A rebound will lift spirits, and I think we are getting close to a crescendo of negative sentiment and selling to see some relief soon.

    I have had loads of problems with RC4 but they are all fixed now.   I think its safe to say that there are many people who have had problems.  10.12.31 is the first QT that has worked well for me on OSX and Windows.

    I never said that the problems weren't being addressed.  I said you guys are trying to sweep everything under the rug and hide it from people.  What else to you call trying to get people to not post bug issues on this forum?  The forum that gets the most views.  That one clown even came out and basically said it doesn't look good and wants to hide everything so he's almost begging people to only post on darkcointalk where nobody goes.

    No your problem is that you don't want people to hear about these bugs with RC4.  Nobody but the cheerleaders go to darkcointalk, everyone else comes here.  You guys want to paint a picture of a perfect RC4 rollout.  Well it doesn't exist.  There are problems and the fact that they are random and occur on different platforms makes them even more problematic.  Who know what else is waiting to happen and when.  This isn't testnet anymore. People are going to update and have real money at stake.  Yet there isn't any official information or assistance being given out on this forum with the most traffic.  Go back to your utopia on darkcointalk and talk about how everything is great and working perfectly while the majority of people see whats actually going on.  The market knows what's going on that's for sure.  

    Damn shoj, just when my opinion of you was improving and I read some actual insightful comments from you lately. Relax! Coins are not getting eaten, yes there are some bugs, but besides you and camosoul and maybe 1-2 others things seem to be working fine.

    4 rounds done. Everything seems OK!

    I think @camosoul's computing enviromnet is best place to check everything is OK with RC4.

    - Linux
    - Encrypted HDD
    - Tor
    - VPN

    1) reported corrupted wallet : resolved
    2) reported tx/denom problem :
        - some tx never reached/broadcasted

    You were talking like everyone was trying to cover up problems, no they aren't, they are just trying their best to help people who are acting like 10 year olds when a bug comes up. No one is trying to say RC4 is perfect, its getting there, as expected. Theres no shame in bugs being investigated and fixed. I agree, the people acting like there is shame in that, should stop worrying so much.
