Do you think there could be some interest in these?

I've bought several hundred of them (earlier versions) before through the same supplier and I wonder whether I'd be able to get a good bulk deal for Darkcoiners.
Stonehedge, please keep me posted on this--I'm interested.
FWIW; the reviews on Amazon site a security flaw if the unit gets submerged in water. Claims there is a work around but the link is deleted. Anyone know the link?

Wow, that it cool. I wonder if one could use this to contain a full bootable OS, or only punch in the code wile powered by USB2/3...

anyway, how much does one of these puppies cost?

Due the the nature of their design, it isn't possible to boot from any external hardware encrypted drive be it a pen drive or a USB hard drive.

The ones with key codes cost about $50 retail and work on all Mac, Windows and Linux.

Its annoying because Blockmaster used to manufacture a device called a Safestick which you could get in 2GB sizes, it was compatible with Linux and Mac and only cost about £7 GBP each if you bought in bulk.  They discontinued them last year.

I'm doing a bit of research.  The Kensington hardware encrypted pen drives don't work on Linux.

I'm sent some emails to some suppliers that I know to see what they have access to.  It'd be great if I could get a batch of really simple FIPS2 or FIPS3 pen drives for cheap.

EDIT:  You've got me thinking about booting from encrypted pen drives.  You might be able to from the key pad ones.  I'll do some research.  You definitely can't from most varieties though.
