Open market will set the price as something is only worth what others are willing to pay.

This is what I don't like about alts. A new coin comes out that is over priced by miners and they rip people off who try to invest, then the price always goes down to a bare minimum. I saw it with all the coins that go on the exchanges. The reason Doge is where it is today is because of the community and the donations. No way I'm paying Dogecoin-like prices for a coin that hasn't proved it is great other than using an anime slogan and brand.
