I know that this is probably off topic, but,  after upgrading to MB 5.18 one of my wallets has an unknown password.  Since there are no "hash" marks or asterisks I am not even sure how many characters there are...  I have restarted 5 times with no improvement, tried all of my passwords, even my 256 bit password, with no good results.  Is there anyway of "deleting" said unknown password?  Or finding whatever it may be?

I had a transaction not show up to my multibit wallet. ID# 53e1a0fd96b4324921e96b03c212d8667f9583df741574ab1cefe306ec7e256a

Blockchain has it confirmed, but the transaction never showed up to the wallet.

I don't understand how this is possible. Can anyone here provide any input?

Edit: After I loaded multibit from a USB it showed up. All better now.

I will never use multibit again after the news and comments been reading regarding so many wallets been hacked and lost funds. Not sure how this has happened but decided to move my coin from multibit back over to normal wallet and android and paper wallets. Seems too much is going on with 3rd party clients. Just hope it gets fixed as might conceder in the future as  BTC client for pc and android is stupidly big in data.

Ill summarize for you. Simply my friend used for online payments for different sites he was using. Everything was working fine. A few more weeks later noticed a few problems wallet wouldn't load proper so he cleared everything out but backing up wallet and restoring. After updating his account balance across 3 of the addresses he had on it was cleaned out and he never withdrew the coins from wallet. When chain finished updating and doing what it needed to noticed a bunch of small transactions go out of his account somewhere totally random and lost his coins. it wasn't much luck but seems its iver to do with the sites he was using or multbit and I have heard other problems alike or not been able to use proper or some sort of issues along the way of using multi bit

Those are user faults, not MultiBit's faults. Your friend's PC got hacked, not MultiBit.
