I think that's also the level at which Black got PoW mined at. So it might be that we're running against old dusty coffers of miners there. If that gets eaten though. Oh boy.

Blk is no big rising coin, seems no big whales( like XRP,STR,XEM,XMR,DASH whales etc) on btc market care it. Only cny market big support this coin

can somebody please explain to me why blackcoin is a better buy than, say, PIVX? Aren't staking rewards like 5-10% per annum with PIVX (assuming constant prices - I know it tanked today but has stabilized at $1.2). Why is Blackcoin better at estimated staking returns of only 1-8%?

Nothing specific to BLK, lots of alt coins sell to feed into bitcoin rally looks like. I think its pressure from bitcoin slipping upwards, people like higher numbers but its not as positive action I would guess.   It'll take at least this month to just even out and see how the charts bars close, as always crypto is a bit volatile and takes time to see the grander picture.  It was so neat before

Maybe there was or will be some news to solidify gains, not seen anything

i dont know the exact loan days in china ,but china should soon put some more money in crypto soon when people get their money 

Mining should be soon get unprofitable due to more and more people joining it again

IMO the price of blk should be minimum 1$

because

since 2014 Blackcoin was always in a "healthy" situation
we survived the altcoins trouble termination years from 2014 to 2016

We've had nearly a solid price for like 1 year
We have short transaction times
We are energy efficient

You can basically "stake" (mine) by literally having a mini pc which consumes only less than 5 watts or even rasperry pi's
You dont need tons of hash's.
You dont need to wait like hours for your coins to show up on your wallet.
