In those circumstances, why would you need BTC? LTC has a similar market saturation to BTC. LTC could become everything BTC hoped to become and more.

SegWit is now complete and ready to be unleashed.

LTC + SegWit + Lightning Networks + the myriad of other options that gives, could mean that LTC becomes unstoppable in becoming a top 2 coin again, perhaps Number 1.

SegWit has been shown to stop ASICBOOST. Chinese miners who are not signalling for SegWit might be reluctant to give up their advantage. I hope not.
