    I understand fully that bitcoin was initially created to be a currency and payment method but for now it turned out that people are using it as an investment asset so you also can not call it not an investment Smiley

    I agree with this. Absolutely Not! Because bitcoin is also an investment. Many people patronize bitcoin because of investment, many people invest and many people earn more profit because of that. So no one can stop calling bitcoin as an investment.

    No matter what you say, bitcoin is a strong and profittable investment for now. Of course people who truly understand bitcoin, knows it will be new era of the economic system. But for now we don't have to blame people who call it as "investment". I believe bitcoin will change the world really, but also i see it as investment. Wink

    well we can't stop that cause it's actually a form of investment for me. i know it was introduced for digital currency but because of its market price it become investment too

    Bitcoin has a function to serve as a currency and also as an investment. For me Bitcoin is a fantastic thing and can accommodate all our needs. Many advantages possessed by Bitcoin and therefore some time ago I routinely use Bitcoin to perform financial transactions every day. In fact, I have been using Bitcoin for a long time as an investment, this is an option that we must be able to take advantage of all the conditions that exist in order to achieve a bright future for our lives.

    we can not deny that bitcoin is better with its investment, if it is used only as a currency will bitcoin be as popular as this? I think do not remember first the price of 1 pizza is 10k BTC, it is an investment that makes a lot of people interested in bitcoin, we should not be narrow minded.

    people are advised to stop calling bitcoin an investment as it has no guarantee as it is highly volatile. it is a technology that has loads of good things and packages to offer and not just been called a financial system of technology

    it seems to have become human nature by buying something cheaply and it will be sold when it feels lucky, it must happen to all business people, and it happens not only on bitcoin alone, but to all cryptocurrency currencies. because most countries still consider bitcoin to be an asset, but if there are many countries that legalize bitcoin to be a direct means of payment certainly business actors will argue otherwise, and they will buy it without feeling as an asset but as a means of payment.

    Bitcoin can never be disregarded as an investment because the volatility of Bitcoin has an intrinsic feature which makes its holders enjoy a profit margin whenever the price rises up. As such, people have developed the interest to invest in it, thus, buy more and hold for a certain period of time till the price reaches a certain good level, and sell for profit.

    Today in this world no one accepts bitcoin as currency...They are taking bitcoin as investment only...Even the people who are accepting bitcoins,means the online commercial sites...They are also taking for trading only....So from one sense thats also an investment...And the newcomers are using money for bitcoins in risk,...they are taking it as share market...So they are calling it Investment

    Buying bitcoin is an investment ...this is because, butcoin as a virtual currency does not function as a medium of exchange because its not generally accepted.
    So its just a store of value.
    An asset like our local fiats.
    So its an investment.

    You are right, bitcoin was created as a digital currency but people use it as an investment. I don't think it's people's fault. If something is giving amazing returns, people are going to hold that and treat as asset instead of currency. We can blame this on bitcoin's volatility not on people.

    The fact that BTC has become a way to invest is not a problem of BTC. But nevertheless it is certainly an investment option. People can never use Bitcoin as a method of payment, but invest a lot of money in it.

    I don't think it is possible to stop calling bitcoin investment bcos since there is always return on investment and who ever put money on bitcoin they always make profit when exchange it to fiat as such it is an investment.
