I am not sure about the necessity of the real life of such a platform, however if they notice such market distances then they can succeed.
Why do you think so? I think that such a project is necessary, it has a noble goal and the society needs such a service.
This may be demanded by employers for whom there is a shortage of specialists. In my country, unemployment is very high. Even a valid specialist can not always find a job. Specialists can be in demand in developing countries, countries with various industries (such as China, Indonesia, Thailand). Accordingly, in such countries such service can be useful.
I know that in the developed countries of the world specialists pay a lot of money, but they are strictly checked: diplomas, testimonials from previous work, etc. Just the application of this project will be very useful for them.
