i feel for you, ive had that happen to me more than once before (on other coins).  best rule is to always compare to the block explorer to be certain the pool is good.

Thank you. I had been trying to contact people for 2 days. It wasn't until here that I found the answer. When a Pool forks the Admin should close it immediately. Admins should pay attention. I was excited about the 22,000 coins I thought I had but crypto can be a cruel mistress lol. Ive used many pools that forked and the admins released a note saying downtime for the fork ive never had one just shut down with no notice with such a high net hash. Anyway I believe in Hemp. Real Hemp is a cash crop in my state and a bill was recently signed to allow hemp farmers to be private instead of just state-owned. I believe when the smoke clears here will be Potcoin and Hempcoin. They are not competitors because they fill two separate markets. For people wondering about the future price of THC, it has low value and just halved the first time. The possibility of a huge pump soon is inevitable. long term will be worth the stake time.

I can totally understand your frustration, im #5 and a couple others:) on the block finder list.  But im looking at it more of a solid that slugmonkey did being the only decent pool for weeks.  Yes it totally sucks that the pool forked over the weekend but you cant seriously make enough $$ running a pool to justify monitoring it 24x7 over the weekend.  Hell I live in the northern US and this weekend was the last with temps over 70 degrees.  I was drunk on a boat all weekend, if I wasn't I would have noticed my accepted shares drop to almost 0%, hell I didn't even notice I was getting email notification from my failover during time slugmonkey was stalledout.  Anyway I hope that the pool operator's lack of attention and professionalism doesn't drive you away from HempCoin.  What is his real affect on the overall product? I don't believe he is associated with hempcoin's Deve team at all. (would love confirmation from someone of authority with Hempcoin) Afterall I would hate to see you make a mistake you later regret.  If you do decided to dump, feel free to PM me and maybe we can work something out. I can only mine so many coins

i have been around long enough not to allow emotions dictate my actions.  i withdrew the 70k on the 27th,  i noticed it then forked and stopped mining, but i'm sure i'll be put in the same boat as the rest (if we ever get a repsonse).  i got 700k which i'm sure i can be creative with rather than dumping, so thank you for your offer but i must decline.
