When it comes to who are more useful I can say that bitcoin is, gold is just a thing and we cannot use it our daily transactions. We cannot also assure that in the future the price of gold will rise, although it is already back from history that it will really rise but I find it boring to keep gold. Gold does not help the community, bitcoins does. So simple right?
Gold will always hold value in the future, it will never be worth zero.
Bitcoin however in 5 or 10 years time could be worth zero.
very unlikely and common misconception, probably they were saying the same thing when gold was "born"(in the sense that was find for the first time) at the beginning
