I really didn't see the post match interview, but I know how manipulate those journalist can be with their questions, try to force words into your mouth, Tyrese Maxey was absolutely stunning and PJ Tucker defense and entire court awareness was also some A performance in my opinion, James Harden and Embiid himself also had some subpar performance too, Tyrese Maxey stole game 1 for them. So, I really don't think the question or Embiid's response was about criticizing his team mates because he knew they gave it their all and are as disappointed as he his about losing the game, so it's more likely that the question was targeted a Embiid and Harden, so Embiid saying basketball is 5 v 5 a game doesn't really mean ill towards his team mates.
I finished watching the full version of it and it actually sounded better than what the media did by snipping the part where the "You can't win alone." and "5 players" were much more focused.
Here it is.
https://twitter.com/SHCWBB/status/1658239460859838466?s=20"I can't win alone, me and James cannot play alone, that's why basketball is played 5 on 5. We just need everybody to keep finding ways to get better."
Yeah, it's better when it's complete.
As I said, I do agree with him but it all starts with them. The Stars. The energy they will bring will be contagious and if they will lead in both offensive and defensive ends of the floor, the team will surely follow them. I think what the fans' emotions are, they are expecting more from the two stars of the 76ers.
Anyway, later we will have Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals. 8:30 AM GMT
This is just like the bubble of 2020. The only difference is, the Nuggets will have the home advantage versus the Lakers because last time they are the number 1 but now it's the Nuggets. The Eastern Conference has no difference. Celtics will take the first 2 home games.
Here is my pick.
Denver Nuggets - Los Angeles Lakers -
Denver Nuggets (-6.5) @1.94
Over 220.5 @1.77 Good luck everyone.
