A target of 235 runs is a big target in T20 and it will not be easy to achieve. Such a big target often benefits the bowlers and the batsmen are under pressure to play big short from the start. Openers can suffer when a high run rate is required. Australia's opening batsmen were soon out due to the this pressure.

Glenn Maxwell getting out I think is a big loss for the Australian team,  because in the T20 format, he is a player who, if he stays at the crease even for a few overs, can cause problems for the opposing team.However, now Smith's wicket has also fallen on 58 runs, which definitely seems to be Australia's defeat. Australia played a good innings against England but lost the second match against India by a huge margin of 44 runs. If runs are less than 10 in an over, then the run rate will increase by almost one,13 runs should be scored from the next over. This is a very difficult equation. Australian bowlers could have done a little more controlled bowling. Such bad bowling by the bowlers makes the batsmen absolutely helpless. If the target had been between 210 and 215 then Australia could have been a bit more close in this match but that was not the case. Team India has already gone a long way in winning this series by winning two consecutive matches against Australia.

India won by 44 runs against Austria in 2nd T20 and lead the series by 2-0. Australia all out in jsut 191 runs in 20 overs. From Australia Marcus Stoinis played a well inning of 45 runs in 25 balls just missed his fifty by 5 runs short and Matthew Wade scored unbeaten 42 runs in 23 balls but failed to chase down the target.
