India vs South Africas 3rd T20I will be really interesting to see. India would give it all to tie the series. On the other hand SA looks very strong on the paper. Last match they proved that, they can thrash away these Indian bowlers. Indian team lacked experience for which they were unable to defend the good total last match. Lets see what will be todays plan in order to win the match. I am assuming they will call Ishan Kishan in place of Jitesh Sharma and Shreyash Iyer in place of Tilak Verma for the last T20I.

Between South Africa and India had a different of land and sky, the land was India and the sky was South Africa. South Africa is much better than the Indian cricket team.
Lets hope India bounces back in the next match and do not let the south African team with the series win.

Well.. a decade or so back.. there was a consensus that India won't win any matches in SENA nations, if Virat Kohli is not playing. In such matches, he used to be the backbone for India. Times have changed, and we saw how Rinku and Surya took on the South African bowlers in the second T20I. But all that said, I have to say that South Africa has the upper hand. They have the momentum, and despite the absence of many of their star players, they destroyed Indians during second match. Also, Bavuma is absent which actually hurts India's chances. Grin

I would not say that the right combination was missed because the players who were included in the squad are always good players and they have done well in the last matches and also in the last IPL they have performed very well and considering that performance they have been included in the XI. If India's opening two batsmen had got runs, we might not have thought that India could not field their best XI. But there is no guarantee that if the two players who were dropped in the opening pair were replaced by other players and they would not have been dismissed for zero runs. The batsmen that India relied on in the second T20I against South Africa may rely on the same batsmen in the third T20 as well.

You can't build a perfect team with XI good player, it needs to be XI right players with right combinations for example if both the openers are having the style of hit or miss then it's never going to work unless one of the player has been very consistent in doing that for example hitman who rarely fails but Gill haven't been consistent in T20s while Jaiswal is going to hit from the ball one that is why I felt one stable opener with other attacking opener will be the perfect combo.

Yes, they are going with trial and error method, but the approach should be right too not just completely blatant, in my opinion.

There are lot of rumors going on media that Rohit and Virat may not be selected into XI for T20 WC but its not realistic and how can a selection committee can drop player who is the top run scorer in WC 2023 and hit man is in second place if I am not wrong, so there is no way they will not be selected unless the players asked them they don't want to.
