Bangladesh competed well in this match but in the end they were forced to lose the match by just four runs. In the match against South Africa, Bangladesh's bowling lineup has to be really praised but the performance of the batsmen was not that remarkable. For Bangladesh, only Touhid Hriday and Mahmudullah Riyad managed to reach the double-digit quota, everyone else did worse. I am surprised by the performance of Shakib Al Hasan in this World Cup, he is the best all-rounder in the world. As Shakib Al Hasan is participating in this World Cup, which will be his ninth T20 World Cup, he is yet to prove his experience. We are all fed up with his performance, whether he plays well or retires, his experience is not reflected in any single match. In a low-scoring match against South Africa where batting should have been the responsibility, Shakib Al Hasan got out for just three runs, which is truly incongruous next to his name.

I would say South Africa team was very lucky to win this match. South Africa's performance was very poor. Even in the previous match, the South African team could not perform well against the Netherlands. South Africa scored only 113 runs against Bangladesh. Despite having experienced batsmen like Hendrick, De Kock and Marakram in the squad, the South African team managed to collect only 113 runs. Taskin and Tanzim Shakib bowled brilliantly in this match.

The reason for Bangladesh's defeat is their bad batting. We have seen such erratic batting of Bangladeshi batsmen for the last few years. And we don't see any improvement in this erratic batting. Shanto scored 14 runs from 23 balls. Liton scored 9 runs from 13 balls. Bangladesh would have won easily if the top order players could have batted a little better. Because the target was only 114 runs. Hopefully Bangladesh team will not make the same mistake against Netherlands in the next match. The Bangladesh team will qualify for the next round by defeating the Netherlands and Nepal.

Only in terms of bowling did Bangladesh perform well, but this ground was famous for its bowling pitch. But even though South Africa was limited to 113 runs, why couldn't the Bangladesh team chase the target of these small ones? 
All the Bangladeshi supporters are pointing fingers at these three players Liton Das, Nazmul Hasan Shanto, Shakib Al Hasan. In any match these three players do not perform well they are constantly performing poorly. 
If you observe, you will surely see that Bangladesh team is showing such weak performance in every case, although the best heroes of this match were Mahmudullah Riyad and Touhid Hridoy. Mahmudullah Riyad finally tried hard enough to win but was dismissed for a boundary which was the biggest failure of the Bangladesh team.

I agree with you Bangladesh team batting was their biggest problem in recent match against South Africa team. Only Touhid Hriday and Mahmudullah Riyad tried to bat well but others did not do well. Shakib Al Hasan is great at bowling but he struggles with batting. Team openers didn't do well which hurt their chances of winning. If they had more reliable batsmen like Touhid and Mahmudullah they could have beaten South Africa and other strong teams. Match was very disappointing especially when Mahmudullah hit six but he got out. This showed Bangladesh batting problems. Team needs to improve their batting if they become want to become stronger in international cricket.

I think performing under pressure is only thing that separates mediocre teams to teams like Australia and India, though India also chokes against Australia often.

In this World Cup every match has a thriller finish in New York stadium targets were very low but nobody chased these targets except the Indian team. South Africa has a 98% chance to qualify in Super Eight they had 1st position with 6 points in Group D in their next match against Nepal. I think they will be easily won so SA has no worries about qualifying for the next round Bangladesh team needs 11 runs in the last over and excellent bowling by Keshav Maharaj who defended 11 runs Mahmudullah will try their best to hit a six on the second last ball but unfortunately got caught by Markram few inches near the boundary tries their best but unluckily to finish the match. South  Africa showed great bowling while defending low targets David Miller is such a gem player from the SA team in the last match he single-handedly won against Netherlands when they were 12/4

Bangladesh lost in this match because of the bad batting of the top -ward. I have forgotten the last time we saw a good performance from the top order players of Bangladesh. Although Bangladesh won against Sri Lanka in the first match, the top order's batsmen's performance was not good.



Opener Tanjid scored 9 runs off 9 balls and was dismissed. However, Captain Shanto's batting was very slow. Shanto batted at only 60 strike rate. He scored only 14  runs from 23 balls. Liton's Strike Rate was only 69, Sakib was out for only 3 runs. We have not seen a good performance since the four batsmen of the top order. If Bangladesh's top order Buttsmen continue to bat like such foolish, then the Bangladesh team will not win against the Netherlands.

When Bangladesh loses a match or feels bad, we say we will not watch Bangladesh's game or expect anything from Bangladesh. Whenever Bangladesh performs with any team, this stupid mind of ours always says that Bangladesh should win. This is love for cricket. However, Bangladesh batted badly in the ODI World Cup and the bowlers did not perform well. But from the start of the first match against Sri Lanka in the T20 World Cup, Bangladesh's boller line-up has performed much better than expected in the South Africa match. The bowlers of Bangladesh have performed very well against South Africa. Due to which I feel very bad for the bowlers of Bangladesh. That is the reason why even after the bowlers of Bangladesh have performed so well, Bangladesh could not win. It is very difficult that the players of Bangladesh could not leave the field with smiling faces. But the way our country bowled, if the batsmen could have batted responsibly, Bangladesh would have won against South Africa. However, several of the umpires' decisions against South Africa were controversial. But Bangladesh batsman Tawheed Hriday took all the blame on his shoulders when asked after losing the match that if I could have played a little better I could have given Bangladesh victory. But thanks to Tawheed Hriday, he tries to bat responsibly in every match and thousands of Bangladeshi cricket fans expect him to perform well.

This New York ground producing only low scoring thrillers and i guess it'll follow a similar script. The projected score before the match is still around 135-140.

If we go by a history of this ground then it could be another low score chase and if Canada manages to touch the 140 mark then who knows, after all, opponents are Pakistan.

Canada's opener made two good starts but did not bat much, Navneet Dhaliwal was dismissed for four runs off 7 balls. However, Aaron Johnson is batting responsibly for Canada. This player is unbeaten with 28 runs from 22 balls. Aaron Johnson is also N. If the two batsmen in Kirton can make it responsible then maybe they can give Pakistan a fairly good run target. Team Canada's current score is 40 runs for 2 wickets in six overs. The current state of play of the Canadian team seems to suggest that if their next batsman can bat responsibly, they can score a maximum of 120 runs. But Pakistan's bowling line is very strong. Pakistan's bowlers will try to restrict it to fewer runs. Let's see how many runs Pakistan's bowlers can restrict Canada to today.
