Luck was largely not in Pakistan's favor in the last match and was abandoned due to rain which allowed the USA to qualify for the quarter finals of the World Cup. America has not only reached this stage of the World Cup tournament due to luck but they have performed brilliantly in the early matches and they have won against stronger opponents than them and this is where they are far ahead of Pakistan. Since Pakistan has already exited this World Cup tournament, the main discussion should now be on the match between South Africa and USA. This match will be played today and South Africa will be ahead as the favorites but USA can do well as they have good quality bowlers and good quality batsmen in their team.

Why South Africa is constantly struggling against the associate nations? Back in group stage, they had a close match against Nepal and just scrape through by a margin of 1 run. And then they had a close match against the Netherlands. And today, they setup a massive target of 195 against the USA, but then the Americans really fought hard and lost the match only by a small margin of 18 runs. Given this, I am not sure whether we can consider them as one of the favorites, although they have remained unbeaten so far.

They needed 28 runs from 12 balls. When Andries Gous and Harmeet Singh managed to score a massive 22 runs from the 18th over which was bowled by Tabraiz Shamsi, I thought for a few seconds that there was actually a chance that USA would win this match. Shamsi ended up with figures of 4-0-50-1. But in the first ball of the next over bowled by Kagiso Rabada, Harmeet Singh got out and that effectively ended the US chase. Andries Gous stayed till the end, but he ran out of support from the other end.

what a great performance from the USA team to fight back in the match and make it tougher for the Proteas to clinch the victory gous and Harmeet played and great innings good game of cricket we witnessed and team USA was very near to victory but the end the day belongs to South Africa and their team. 1st win in the Super 8 lets hope USA play with the same passion and dedication so hopefully, they will win few games or maybe get their ticket to Semi-final

Team USA players did not perform well as Andries Gaus entered the field as the opening batsman. And he was unbeaten at the end of the game and scored 80 runs off 47 balls, the only good run scored in today's match. But comparatively other players may perform well, but remember it is not possible for a team to win alone.  
If these three players, Shayan Jahangir, Anderson, Aaron Jones could have performed a little bit better, then the United State America team would have been much more likely to win.



You will notice that even though South Africa set a target of 195 runs, it was enough, as every player in the South African team performed well. Both the bowling line and the batting line, they have tried their best to win and are the best team of the current season. But the USA team players did not perform well in comparison, with a poor performance in the unique meeting due to which they lost the match by 18 runs. You see you can never win by fighting alone and Andries Gaus has done well alone and looks at other players.

Comparing the two teams here, USA team is definitely less strong. However, the South African team has performed well in terms of bowling line and batting line.  United State America did not perform well under the bowling pressure of the South African team, Andrise Gous scored 80 runs but the rest of the batsman failed.

These teams are facing each other at this time. Match has been started. England won the toss and they chose to field first and they are bowling now. West Indies has played 2 overs and made 13 runs in these two overs. At this time this is really difficult to predict that which team can win. Because both teams are strong and both have chances to qualify for the semifinals round. I hope West Indies will perform well. And they have chances to qualify for semifinals round. So let's wait and see who will perform well. And here we can't underestimate the England team too.

I cannot believe after this match and I still have a question how they can do this? Never underestimate the United States of America because in not just real life they are amazing, they are also amazing in the cricket side and such a miracle is here from them. 
They lost only by 18 runs and made 176 runs against the world class bowling.
