Zimbabwe lost the first T20I in 19.1 overs and that tells the story that SL has to work hard to win the game. Now Zimbabwe has golden chance to win a T20I against a good side. It's a three match T20I series, if Zimbabwe can win today's game then last T20I will decide winner of the series. Zimbabwe start of run chase is not good, after 4 overs there score 23 runs and 2 wickets have gone down. 58 more runs still required and if Zimbabwe keep losing wickets like that they won't be able to chase this simple target.

It was quite unfortunate to see that United Arab Emirates lost a winning match because in the last over they needed 16 runs to win against Afghanistan. United Arab Emirates scored 10 runs on the first two balls then they needed six runs on just four balls then a single and five runs on three balls but after two balls were doted Irfan was caught out on the last ball due to which united Arab Emirates lost a winning match. Ibrahim was also the man of the match in today's match as he scored a half century against Pakistan and today batting aggressively scoring 48 runs off 25 balls and assited Afghanistan to scored huge runs on board. After this match the united Arab Emirates has lost its all matches in the tri-series while Pakistan and Afghanistan have won 3, 3 match each and lost only 1, 1match. Now the final of the UAE tri-series will be played between Pakistan and Afghanistan

This is a great opportunity for Zimbabwe. They have put Sri Lanka under a lot of pressure from the start and have taken 5 crucial wickets for just 45 runs. Sri Lanka's only hope now is Charith Asalanka or Dasun Sanaka. Only they can save Sri Lanka from a humiliating defeat and score some decent runs. The biggest worry is the run rate, they are batting at just 5 runs which is not ideal for T20s. In the first innings we might see a maximum of 130 runs which is going to be an easy target for Zimbabwe, if they can take this opportunity and win the match then they have a chance to win the series. In fact, Zimbabwe should win one match in the series.

Zimbabwe bowlers have worked very hard, due to which they have been able to take an easy target in the match. That is why they have been able to score only 80 runs due to the toughness of their bowlers. Zimbabwe batsmen have played very well and have victory this match by building strength within themselves. No Sri Lankan batsman has played with hope, but has failed in the match by applying pressure and negligence. Their team should not have given Zimbabwe a chance to victory the series, but they did not play with any good effort at all and continued to work hard with poor play which was of no use to them. If the Sri Lankan batsmen had given any target up to 130, then some hope could have been expected from their bowlers, but they could not show any toughness on that either and they lose the match.

It was a good match for Zimbabwe. In the previous matches too we have seen Zimbabwean players perform quite well. But due to the poor bowling of the bowlers they could not win a single match. But in today's match we saw incredible bowling from Zimbabwean bowlers. Sri Lankan batsmen could only collect 80 runs. No Sri Lankan batsman could do well in this match.
Sikandar Raza and Bard Evan took 3 wickets each. Blessing Muzarabani also bowled well. On the other hand, no other bowler from Sri Lanka could do well except Dushmantha Chameera. Chanmeera took 3 wickets

Zimbabwe struggled in start of run chase, three of their wickets went down in just 5.4 overs. Ryan Burl and Tashinga Musekiwa partnership of 23 runs helped Zimbabwe in levelling the series. Zimbabwe lost 5 wickets in chasing the target. It was not a good day for SL because whole of their batting collapsed in just 17.4 overs. Sikanader Raza and Brad Evans both bowled brilliantly and picked 3 wickets each. Sri Lanka next assignment is Asia cup and this defeat means they are not well prepared for the Asia cup. 

Zimbabwe are not an experienced team. Even though the target was very small, I was sure that Zimbabwe would face problems in reaching the target. And Zimbabwe reached the target by losing 5 wickets. But , I was impressed by the performance of Zimbabwe's bowlers. Siukandar raza, Muzarbani and Evans bowled well. These three bowlers gave very few runs and took 8 wickets. I am looking forward to the last match. If Zimbabwe can win, they will win the T20 series. However, it will be very difficult to win another match against this Sri Lankan squad. I still consider Sri Lanka as the favourites to win the series.

Zimbabwe has won a T20 match after a long time. Even though the series is levelled, the chances of Zimbabwe winning last match is very low. Sri Lanka still is favourite for last match provided they don't play bad cricket. It was a big surprise to know that Sri Lanka got out in just 18 overs after scoring there second lowest total in T20I. Seven of Sri Lanka batsmen were not able to make it to double figure today and that's why Sri Lanka failed to give a fighting total. If Zimbabwe can keep giving performances like that then surely they will qualify for T20 world cup some day.
