It's second time in this series that Zimbabwe opener Brian Bennett got out for 49 runs. Zimbabwe after setting a target of 163 runs are now doing a good job in bowling. After 3 overs, Sri Lankans have lost 2 wickets and score is just 12 runs. SL need 150 more run in 17 overs and if Zimbabwe can get one or more wickets then they can put Sri Lanka under pressure. If Zimbabwe win today's game then there chances to qualify for final will increase. Zimbabwe has surprised everyone with it's performance in this tri nation series and that's a good sign for Zimbabwe cricket.
Well, the good thing this time is that Zimbabwe managed to get three quick wickets and suddenly Sri Lankan team struggling at 25/3. I think most of us wouldn't have anticipated this type of start by the Sri Lankan team. The top three batsmen Pathum Nissanka, Kusal Mendis and Kusal Perera are out cheaply and now I think Zimbabwe are in control of this match.
From Zimbabwe's point of view, they got a good start but now they need to keep the pressure on and not let the Sri Lankan team score free runs. If they manage to get one more wicket of either Bhanuka Rajapaksa or Dasun Shanaka, it will be too good for them.
