Finally, we have made it. Kashmir Premier league has kicked off today and currently the opening ceremony is live now.
First time we will witness these matches in Kashmir. A great moment in the history.
There was conflict between PCB and BCCI about this league, isn't it? Few days ago I have watched a news regarding this matter on YouTube. ICC said it's not an international cricket event and they can't do anything there. I thought the league will be postponed because of the conflict between those two cricket board. However, the game is on and some sports betting platform has made this event available for their bettors.
I don't understand why BCCI didn't want this series to be played or more importantly that no international players should visit Pakistan for this series.
Even though there was pressure on Herschelle Gibbs, but still he ignored the Indian warning and arrived in Pakistan to play the series. Look at his words which he told about how Indian board threaten him not to visit Pakistan.
Completely unnecessary of the @BCCI to bring their political agenda with Pakistan into the equation and trying to prevent me playing in the @kpl_20. Also threatening me (by) saying they wont allow me entry into India for any cricket related work. Ludicrous, he wrote.
Can anyone expect such behaviors from BCCI
