Taliban did not took over the country, they were the native people of the Afghanistan. It was American who were trying to take over them, and they failed.
Sad to see that a terrorist could take over a country like that and the US created this mess and they are leaving in the mess they started during the cold war era. You cannot call them the native people as there are people in the group from different countries.
Afghanistan and Taliban are very friendly over the sports and you will find a very strong cricket team emerging from Afghanistan. I don't know about the short term position for them in the T20 world cup because ICC will take the decision based upon the pressure from the global media. But in the long run, Afghanistan will be a strongest cricket nation too.
