Know what? You can't blame the BCCI for that. They are always after the revenue and it looks like there is not enough revenue in the women's matches. You can have a match between the India Women's team and the Pakistan women's team, and still there will be more viewership in India for an Ireland vs West Indies match which is occurring at the same time.

Things are different in Australia. There they have the WBBL, which has attracted quite a few loyal fans. The revenue is there and the league can be sustained on its own. But I really doubt whether we can have a WIPL in India, as there is hardly any interest for the women's matches here.

The above post is just my opinion about the whole thing, and it is not intended to offend anyone. I am an Indian resident and a female. I have talked to a lot of my friends, and most of them are die-hard fans of Virat Kohli or Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Very few of them have ever heard about Harmanpreet Kaur or Smriti Mandhana.

DC lost both their matches against CSK this year so they are not better team against CSK due to their inexperience.Toss will play a big role in today's match and if DC bat first then they might play better than batting second because even in their last match they are struggling to chase it down from their middle order.

No need to under-estimate CSK. They have the most experienced players in this tournament. The average age of the CSK side is 34, while that for DC is 7 years less. For CSK, they are heavily dependent on Dhoni, Raina and Tahir, while for the DC the work load is more spread out. The absence of Rabada is going to hurt DC, as none of their other pacers are able to match him in terms of strike rate and economy. In short, I would say that DC is the favorite to win this match by a good margin, but it is not possible to write off CSK.

It is not the government that has to take initiative, the BCCI has to take that initiative and start promoting Women's cricket and India does have world class Women players like Mithali Raj and the youngster Smriti Mandhana and if there is a good program that promotes cricket in the school level we will see more promising players and i am sure people will be watching them if they are promoted accordingly.

For the betting line DC are the underdog and i will not dare to bet against MSD, he is the best captain in the world and he will always find a way to win the match in any given situation. MSD does not experiment with players too much and that can be considered as a short coming, but in this format one innings will change everything .

Poor start for Delhi. Their batting lineup had failed them several times in this tournament.Yet, we need to wait for the final score before predicting a winner because Delhi has a better bowling lineup than Chennai has. A 160+ score could be defendable.

The BCCI is filled with corrupt people although their numbers have decreased even since Srinivasan was removed. Both the government and BCCI need to actively support female cricketers by providing adequate funds wherever required.

Yeah, Experience counts but match is still in progress. Chennai already gave one chance to Pant when Chahar ruined the party in the boundary line. so delhi can still fancy good fighting score from here.

Shreyas is good, but it happens in cricket, so that's fine. if you want CSK to win - pass the msz to thala-

I am still rooting for  DC.

I don't think DC will defend 147 runs. The scores is now 48/0 in 7 overs. Since DILHI can not break through yet any wicket 147 will be very easy by CSK I think. Now Lets see how can defend DC.

For the first time my prediction is going to fail. By now, CSK is very comfortably placed and they need less than 7 runs per over with 9 wickets remaining. Unfortunately for the Delhi Capitals, Shane Watson seems to be back in form after so many failures. So the IPL final is going to be between MI and CSK, but I'd still favor MI to win the trophy.

Miracle isn't anymore possible, I believe, provided that Chennai needs 47 runs from 49 balls, however, if Chennai lose the match for any kind of reason, I would not call it miracle, rather it will be a total matxh fixing
