Lets change the topic a bit.

First topic:
I have browsed youtube a while ago I have watched a video regarding the new rule that the Commissioner created and he said that "
If a player will skip the PBA Draft for 2 consecutive seasons then the player will be ban permanently in the PBA. If a player is eligible already in PBA draft but he choose to skip to draft himself to be drafted for 2 consecutive years then he will receive a total ban from PBA.
We know that Thirdy Ravena chose not to be drafted last 2019 PBA draft for some reasons and he also commented on this saying that "There must be a considerations to this rule."
I believe that the Commissioner has a valid reason why he has to do this rule change regarding this Draft pick. He needs to keep the intensity of the PBA by continuously recruiting excellent Filipino players. And talented players refusing to be drafted just because they do not want the team that will pick them is not being professional and will eventually weaken the very core of the Philippines Basketball League. BTW, are you referring to this
video?
Second topic:
I just recently watched a video again on youtube and I saw that there is a trade that happened between NorthPort and Ginebra.
A trade consist of Greg Slaughter and their Rookie Jerick Balanza in exchange of Christian Standhardinger.
Do you think it is a fair trade between the 2 teams??
Any opinion with this?
I think it is a fair trade. Trade between two teams happens if both teams see an advantage over it. Probably each team saw a good use for the player in order to strengthen their own team. Remember Basketball is not a one-man show and can't be won by one player alone. One team can give up one of their best players to remove the possible conflict or overlapping skills on their team exchanging them to the player that can fill the gap or hole on their team.
