It's amazing how overlooked this coins functions are. There are only a few real completely new coded coins out in the wild. BTC, NXT, Qora, Ripple ..really what else is new apart from some protocol built on Bitcoin or a semi clone like NEM and NODE? BTC, NXT and Ripple rightfully are valued high because of this but Qpra possibly the best coin among them is worth almost nothing in comparison. Something has to change either the price does a moon shoot or this coin disappears as a scam cause that what it's valued as at the moment, a scam or a clone.

is closed source holding us back? I want people to see the quality of Qoras ideas in his coding. many coins have copied Qora and labelled their coin new source but I highly doubt there are all theses brand new coin, they are either plagiarised of another one or lying completely.

Well I was more asking the question rather than calling for a vote. If we did vote again it needs a proper plan and be the right time like after the coin is fully developed. But my question is still does being closed source explain the low price?

Really Dzarmush? Even though as a NXT follower you watched the coin explode in price prior to OS. Sorry but I question your sincerity. You also have said yourself that Clones help a coin. You seem to of changed your view?

Plus this coin has been held back by the idea it is a clone, proving that would make a difference I expect.

I originally voted to keep the source closed, but as the weeks have passed on I have had a change of heart. It's not about price, as low price means I buy more and that goes for any crypto I choose to have a stake in.

My reasoning is simple, "Innovation".

I know many of you are so excited about the AE, but for me, it will not help Qora at all, or any coin for that matter. An AE is a great concept, but it lends itself to scammers way too easily. The effect the AE will have on an every day adopter is null. I could be wrong, but I believe our resources should be focussed in other areas. The fact that buyers have no recourse nullifies any potential benefit, but that is my opinion and I could be wrong.

Qora should solely focus on:

• Re-establishing our node count
• Multiple clients to choose from - must be OS for this ( I suggested we have a client that supports themes, kind of like personalized checks)
• Attract developers from other coins - trust me, good talent pool is low right now with the influx of all these new alts - must be OS for this.
• Whitepaper release
• Full or Partial Code release, put the skeptics to rest
• Javascript Buy Now Button ( Can also be used for tipping, reputation votes etc..)
• Mobile Applications
