Big blow for the Bucs, Ryan Jensen could be out for the year with a knee injury:
source: https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/buccaneers-ryan-jensen-feared-to-have-significant-knee-injury-after-being-carted-off-at-practice-per-report/Tampa Bay Buccaneers Pro Bowl center Ryan Jensen was carted off the field during Thursday's training camp practice. Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles revealed during his press conference that Jensen suffered a knee injury, but did not go into detail. Jensen is still undergoing tests to determine the severity of the injury, but the NFL Network reports that the fear is that he has a significant injury. Meanwhile, a source told ESPN that it's "not looking good."
He was apparently injured during an OL drill, non-contact injuries are the worst. I know they haven't confirmed/announced the exact injury, but very likely an ACL tear, which means he'll be done for the year. It's going to be tough for the Buccaneers to replace him because they do not have anyone else at that position. They would be forced to play some second-year guy with no snaps at center, or seek a trade/sign someone else. Either way, things are not looking good for their offense, run game, etc.
