Woww, never knew bitcoin had some exposure on national televisions those days. And I am guessing you did not trust the system enough to buy enough to hold. I heard about cryptocurrencies in 2014 but did not give it much attention till 2018. I guess I missed the glory days already

Nice new OP, it is really good to hear that bitcoin or cryptoworld has mentioned in the TV show because it shows that bitcoin is being known by many countries all over the world. Bitcoin becomes so prominent in a way that most of the people tend to use it anywhere and anytime and if this things continue to happen, there would be more miners, investors and traders of cryptocurrency which will affects the price of the bitcoin or other cryptocurrency.

Not only bitcoin but also cryptocurrency as a whole has been mentioned in a lot of shows and even movies now. And I think it's good since it can inform people about bitcoin and crypto. This is like a simple promotion or advertisement for bitcoin although not all shows or movie that is mentioning bitcoin and crypto is always positive.

But with this, it can really gain attention from the viewers of a certain show. Since bitcoin is still at the phase of mass recognition, I hope more positive insights about bitcoin will be mentioned on TV shows. We tend to see a lot of negative sides of bitcoin or crypto on TV but there's also way more positive aspects it can bring us.

It's typically how people perceive things that they have less knowledge about. Once they understand why it was made for and what it could bring to society, it's worth to have Bitcoin, for sure. Just like what happened in that TV show, the lack of understanding or the view with what currencies are is the reason why people take Bitcoin negatively at first. I think educating people would be the best idea for inviting people to become enthusiasts as well.

Never heard of the show Billions and BTC and crypto being mentioned in TV shows and movies and is nothing new. Mr.Robot, Dope etc are just some of the shows and movies where it has been mentioned before.

Never observed this though I have watched the Deadpool movies multiple times. I don't think something barely noticeable would create any impact in this case whatsoever.

When bitcoin is mentioned or entered into a conversation script about bitcoin it will certainly give a good stimulus and provide an explanation to the audience.

if you have to answer about Bitcoin backed by anyone, the answer is like this:
Bitcoin is backed by a protocol that is based on fair and decentralized concessions. backed by the most powerful supercomputer network in the world.

That's definitely some change right there on mainstream television. Usually they depict bitcoin as something sinister and dark that using it will taint your soul. It's a good refresher that a TV show talking about basically money has somewhat praised bitcoin--or given it a new light--in front of potentially millions of audiences. That scene would surely ignite some curious minds to search the web for answers on what backs USD after the gold standard was released by Nixon for good.

I am fond of movies especially when it is really a good one, but here is one thing that I noticed in a movie when they are including bitcoin or some kind of cryptography. It always depict the bad, every time I see bitcoin in a movie it is always used in some kind of criminal actions like buying illegal stuffs on deep web, form of terrorist ransom and the worst I've seen is that it is even used to scam people which will probably impact to people's mind that bitcoin is made for it.
