It can't hurt to put some effort into understanding what Bitcoin really is. It is quite different from a software where it's not important to understand why software does what it does. Now for the transaction alone it isn't that important to understand the functionalities at protocol level, but to understand why Bitcoin is making its way into our society is valuable knowledge to anyone. Understanding Bitcoin is kind of equal to questioning the world we currently live in. I think it can never hurt to understand the environment you spend your life in, its shortcomings and possible solutions. 

I think that ordinary people are afraid of Bitcoin mainly because: 1. For political reasons, Bitcoin is banned in some countries, and then government officials in these countries usually say that Bitcoin is a scam or bubble, which is extremely risky, and then warns. People don't want to invest in such projects, so people are afraid of Bitcoin. 2. In terms of technology, some of the technologies adopted by Bitcoin are not easy for middle-aged and elderly people to accept and do not understand these encryption technologies. Therefore, it becomes very difficult to popularize knowledge about cryptocurrencies because they don’t understand. Understand, so instinctively resist such projects. 3. Volatility, most ordinary people like to invest in sound, most of them don't like to take risks to invest in high-risk projects. Bitcoin is still very volatile. For ordinary people, risks cannot be controlled and they will be afraid All your own funds will be lost.

For the new ones especially those who come in when the bulls are starting to get traction, they aim to get out quickly with lambos in mind. Just when they buy today, they are already asking tomorrow when to sell.

But for those who haven't yet come to buy BTC, they are either very knowledgeable about how the market works or they are just skeptical if BTC is a scam because of the fud they hear.

Many countries around the world have no idea about bitcoin yet as they have no touch with technology so they are afraid of bitcoin. I think if they know about bitcoin investing they will invest in bitcoin even if there is a risk because it is easy to make a profit by investing even if there is fear. In many places no one knows what bitcoin is if supported by the government there will be no fear if it becomes legal.

Communications and shopping and commerce depends on internet but I think a lot of people also overestimate how much we really need the internet. Our parents did fine without it,,, in fact had better and richer lives. The same for 1 billion people in the world who do not have internet.

Good not to convince people,,, there is not much to convince right now I would say even more so for BTC (right now). I love the currency and want it to succeed but I think we are not realistic if we say it is going to save the world and change our lives.

The answer to this question is very simple: they are afraid of new. People are afraid of what they don't understand. Most of the people have no knowledge about economy because they don't teach us the important things in school.

for people who don't understand bitcoin, it's very difficult for us to explain, especially if they don't understand bitcoin, when they want to learn about bitcoin, we also want to teach them how to invest in bitcoin, it's not that they are difficult to put their money in bitcoin but they tend to hesitate to enter this investment just because they still don't understand this business bisnis

Therefore, they should need at least do know on whats the basics because this is the most important thing for a certain person to have when dealing up with something that he hadn't encountered before.

If they do feel afraid then yes I cant really blame out some people because that's due to lack of knowledge and awareness on what it is all about and even myself had really that hindrance on first glance

when knowing about bitcoin or crypto since its totally new then you would be normally having that kind of reaction so the best way to get rid of that is to make your own research and learn up new things
connected to it.
