El Salvador Dispatch: Berlín, the Bitcoin Marvel Hidden in the Mountains
Berlín, a city of 20,000 people, is home to El Salvadors second Bitcoin circular economy. Bitcoin City already exists. Its called Berlín, said one resident.

More than 150 businesses accept bitcoin payments in Berlín.
The citys Bitcoin initiative was spearheaded by Salvadorans.
The local community is supportive of the movement, which has brought economic benefits to the town.
In El Salvador, about two hours away from the capital, up in the mountains, lies a town named Berlín. Its a mid-sized city by Salvadoran standards, with a population of roughly 20,000. It has a bank, law firms, police, food stores, hardware stores, bars, restaurants, hotels, pharmacies, clinics, churches and one of the largest Bitcoin circular economies in the world.

The positive side of this Berlin city is that they are using Bitcoin and this Bitcoin is used to buy food and unique items, this Berlin city is completely controlled by El Salvador. What I like the most is that this city has hardware stores, if you walk down the street, of course, everyone from fruit shops to garage mechanics and motor mechanics accept payments through Bitcoin. I think this Bitcoin Berlin city is one of the symbols of the country of El Salvador.
