Bukele's approach is very systematic. Clean up the crime aggressively with minor negative cost, and then invest heavily in education. While there are doubters around the world, what we are seeing is an unique example of working politics. I have never seen valid arguments against what is Bukele doing as most metrics indicate that his is overwhelmingly successful with this and that the population widely supports his measures. Ironically, the people who are complaining about him are most likely living in countries with very corrupt politicians and countries that have problems that keep getting worse and not better.

With this things they have done for educating people towards Bitcoin and for being successful of their Firs CUBO program that their young generation knowledgeable not on with Bitcoin but also with Ai technology.

This efforts they made like giving good education to their people would provably bare good result for their country. Now it became more interesting to look forward in future especially that lot of great things happen on El Salvador.

We don't know if they became economically sufficient with this but what did El Salvador did would provably bring lot of good things that will be helpful to their country.

My full understanding is that this reflects the type of savings continuity practice under their political figure leadership.
I know many observers have commented that because personal purchases in this country are so small, they never have an impact on Bitcoin liquidity but the consistency with which they are practicing is certainly enough to support a major symbolic effect. You have made ample statements that they are organizing various research programs and educational activities on Bitcoin, in addition the Robot Law and Bitcoin are among the most notable programs that have created a stir.

By the way this country may not trust various programs because they have already prepared a secure cold wallet system to protect their assets from possible cyber attacks maybe in this case they won't compromise on anything.

You may have noticed that various countries have already started following El Salvador, especially many countries in the world have started directly and indirectly increasing their country's strategic reserves in Bitcoin. Previously, gold was kept in banks as a liquid asset or as a reserve, but now, along with gold, Bitcoin is being held as a strategic reserve. Pakistan has decided to keep Bitcoin as their strategic reserve, and even a popular political party in India has expressed its opinion to keep Bitcoin as a strategic reserve. Now, the demand and popularity of Bitcoin is increasing and it is estimated that in the future, Bitcoin has the potential to be recognized as one of the world's reserve currencies. When every country in the world gives importance to Bitcoin as a reserve to manage, then El Salvador will definitely be the only Bitcoin Idol City in the world.

There is great news that El Salvador's President Nayib Bukele will reveal the progress that Bitcoin has made in the past 3.5 years, from the beginning of Bitcoin to today, on this day from September 30 to October 1.
There will also be a wide discussion about Bitcoin education at this event, of course we will be looking forward to this day, because important discussions are held here, the opinions of experienced people will certainly be beneficial for every Bitcoin holder.

Its amazing to see that El Salvador is doing good on this things especially for having this Bitcoin education to their citizens.

With this I got curious if there are other countries have this kind of set up in their school and amazing to see that some countries also insert Bitcoin education on their curriculum.

I do hope that this kind of teaching would spread out especially in our country since Bitcoin education is so helpful for future generation especially that digitalization will boom in future and its good that we are prepared for it so that we can take advantage on future benefits what technology and Bitcoin could offer to us and also to other people.

Just a reminder that Bitcoin isn't a legal tender in El Salvador anymore, not only because of pressure from IMF, but because businesses are legally required accept it, and many merchants were against adopting it because of the volatility and technical issues. Not to speak of the fact BTC being a legal tender was unpopular among the majority of Salvadorans.

Imho it's better to stay as a legal payment method for anyone accepting it, then to require all the small businesses to accept it as a legal tender. That doesn't sound very libertarian to me.

El Salvador’s president tops international image rankings, surpassing global leaders from North America, Europe, and Asia.
President Nayib Bukele of El Salvador has been recognized as the world’s highest-rated leader, topping a ranking of 21 global leaders in the latest international survey conducted by Chilean polling firm Cadem. With a remarkable 77% favorable image rating, Bukele stands above prominent presidents and prime ministers from North America, Europe, Asia, and South America.
The survey, which assesses public perceptions of global political figures, places Bukele in first place, followed by Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney (61%) and Pope Leo XIV (57%). French President Emmanuel Macron and Chinese President Xi Jinping tied for fourth place with 56%, while UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer followed closely at 53%. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky (50%), Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni (48%), Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum (47%), and Uruguayan President Yamandú Orsi (44%) rounded out the top ten.
Under President Bukele’s administration, El Salvador has undergone a dramatic transformation in security. In 2024, the country recorded a historic homicide rate of just 1.9 per 100,000 inhabitants, the lowest in the Western Hemisphere. This stands in stark contrast to the 106.3 per 100,000 rate recorded in 2015, during the previous FMLN government.

This is one of the flaws of their implementation and many merchants are concern about the volatility of Bitcoin. If El Salvador assess well the situation and try to educate more the merchants or business sector about Bitcoin for sure those things will not happen.

But what still good thing happen is they make Bitcoin acceptance voluntary and merchants could still choose to accept it or not. But if I am the merchant in that country I would provably choose to add Bitcoin since it will not give people choices to pay something for the goods they bought. But also it give exposure to lots of people that my store is accepting Bitcoin. For now the current status is better since they could think about more better approach. BTC still legal in their country so everything still fine and they can deal with Bitcoin on anything  they like.
