Since yesterday Bitcoin has updated ATH, I predict that some people will start spending BTC to celebrate this achievement. I expect new posts to appear with the context of how they have spend some of their holdings.

Me personally will transfer about $100-200 worth of Bitcoin and convert to EUR. Hope that whole process will be quick, as I expect to buy a cake and order something special for Fridays dinner. And keep holding rest of my crypto.

It really depends on the situation. Personally, I hold and I spend. During the lowest position of bitcoin, I buy so that I can hold it and make profit over time. I'm here for the long term so, I seldom touch my assets. However, there are certain times that I have to, because I also have to buy the things I needed to survive. I cash out when I feel the need to do so. Most of my spendings are because of the necessities, but I also have spendings on luxurious things. After all, I also want to enjoy the fruit of my strategies and patience.

It's just a matter of discipline. If you want to spend, learn to set your limitations and boundaries so that you won't go overboard the intended budget for expenses. If you plan to hold, you must practice self-restraint every time you see Bitcoin's price soaring high. You can always enjoy today without sabotaging your future.

If we can make holding a habit, that was so easy for sure but the truth is that we can be all persistent to hold, it sometimes we got tempted especially when the price reaches its new ATH. Well, I am going to admit that I'd never long for a long time, maybe months but not years because just like you, in many circumstances that we can spend our Bitcoin even we don't like it. It is probably we don't have any option and I think holding never make sense if in ourselves we suffer a lot.

I will be hold the bitcoin and wait for the price increase then sell the bitcoin. Bitcoin is any time to up and down. It any time to change the price. So it not easy to guess the price. I will follow the bitcoin day by day. Then easy to analyse the price. It best coin the all coin. So hold and wait for the price increase then place to buy or sell the coins.

I don't spend my bitcoins, I just keep holding. I don’t know how clever it is, I still admit that after reaching the new ATH, a correction may take place and the price will significantly drop down. Although even so, I will still hold bitcoin further and wait for its further growth. Although if I knew for sure that the price of bitcoin would fall, then I could sell now and buy it at a lower price.

When I need money for my basic expenses, I withdraw a lump of Bitcoin that would satisfy my requirement. If not required, I just hold the whole BTC in the same wallet and that is not time framed. But, I have really felt why I have used my BTC for my basic expenses. I should have held it as BTC is heading to $100k. Better to buy more BTC even now as its going to be on it peak very soon. 

I spend my Bitcoin and  I hodl too but I do hodl mostly because it benefits me alot. The last time I spent my Bitcoin I used it to purchase a mobile phone.

since the day i met bitcoin i have always spent bitcoin because bitcoin is money and should be used to buy things in the real world, if everyone uses bitcoin to do hodl then there will come a time when people will use altcoin to shop and bitcoin could lose popularity


well in my country i can only buy with bitcoin refills for mobile, i can't buy anything else

Nowadays internet and cell phones are basic needs in almost all countries, so it is certain that almost everyone uses cellphones and internet everywhere.
That's why the popularity of crypto is so increasing, because so many internet users already have the knowledge to use crypto. But since not
many merchants accept crypto payments most people don't spend Bitcoin to buy things, they make more use of Bitcoin as an asset. Especially with
the very volatile Bitcoin price, investing in Bitcoin can generate huge profits. I also prefer to make Bitcoin as an asset than spend it to buy something.
Not to mention that there are still many countries that prohibit crypto from being used as a means of payment,  so there are more people who use
Bitcoin as an asset, because they don't want to break the law.
