Your words confirms my scepticism.
Currently I use Windscribe and I prefer not to add more subscriptions. But there is some things that I don't like on Windscribe. They don't have that many locations as some other VPN's have. And it doesn't always work with Youtube - even after connecting to right country, video still doesn't works.
My skepticism about Windscribe is that they ask you to enter your email if you want to get additional 10GB on a free tier. If they are so privacy focused as they say, then why do they do this?
By the way, Windscribe has many locations but if you want something from streaming, other VPNs are much better choice for this but they aren't good choice for privacy.
They don't like when people are downloading their videos and watching them offline.
Really? There are many websites and tools that allow you to download videos from YouTube. You can even download videos from their official app on your smartphone but not in mp4 format, it stays in the app like on Netflix.
Yeah, I know that Youtube and all streaming services liike Netflix don't like VPN users. But it's VPN task to replace blacklisted IP's, I'm paying money to get working service.
It's their task to replace blacklisted IPs if they promise you the ability of streaming Netflix, YouTube and other services. If they don't promise you that, then it's not their task to my mind.
