I agree that a part of the world's female population already dominates men in some types of work, even in the crypto space.
Gender should not be a debate in this space because this industry is not only created for one gender, but anyone can take advantage of it. Men and women have almost the same abilities in this industry, but because of their nature, men are definitely the most dominant.

So in conclusion, I don't care about gender. Men and women must equally support this industry to achieve its goals.

It is important to encourage diversity and inclusivity in the cryptocurrency industry, as it will only lead to a more robust and innovative sector.

I'm not sure why people want to have everything in life being represented as exactly the same percentage of the population.

We have older people, and kids for example. Do we need to add Bitcoin news about what older people and kids do regarding Bitcoin?, of course not.

It shouldn't matter what "class" you belong to, just what you do as a person. These people accusing others of being sexist are actually the sexist themselves by focusing on the gender of people instead of what they do.

There are many ways to divide humanity. One is gender.

If you look at how many people in each country uses Bitcoin you will also find differences. Shall we push to have every country represented proportional to their population in Bitcoin?

If you look at ages of people you'll see that there's also a difference between age groups. Shall we push to have every age group represented equal?

What about height?, sexual preference?, color of skin?, or any other group that you can possibly imagine. Shall we try to keep everything represented equally in Bitcoin?

You will quickly realize that this is an impossible task.

Bitcoin is open to anyone, there is no ban or restriction to a specific group. Whoever is interested can be a part of it.

OP, It's  a nice thread you have raised, one which is seldom seen in the forum and I appreciate your attention to such recognition. But it should be noted that there are a numerous number of persons that have made great contributions in one way or the other to the development and spread of bitcoin and if we're to make mention of them all the list will be endless.

In other words, if we ain't hearing much about these women you OP mentioned and others like them then that doesn't mean they ain't celebrated and recognized in their own little space where they function. And no one can boldly say women are not part of the development and spread of bitcoin just because their names ain't among the notable few that are usually mentioned when talking about bitcoin.

The beauty of Bitcoin and other open source projects is that you can't really discriminate anyone even if you wanted to. Anyone is free to get onboard without anyone's permission.


You must have very low opinion of women's performance in the crypto space if you think their "survival" is dependent on what others think of them.

If a woman, or any human for that matter, makes a valuable or interesting contribution to Bitcoin it will most definitely not be ignored.

I wonder if there's any kind of backing to those statements made, i.e. a woman making contributions to Bitcoin that is being actively ignored. I do not believe such thing exists.
