Hello,

New here and wanted to learn about mining.
Just got my tiny Avalon Nano 3 and wanted to join the Lottery pool as I like the idea.
I just want to configurate everything correctly.

In the Mining Management on the Nano 3, I have 3 settings for pools.
Pool address 1:
Worker 1:
Password 1: (optional)
Pool address 2:
Worker 2:
Password 2: (optional)
Pool address 3:
Worker 3:
Password 3: (optional)

As default, all of them are set to different Bariins pools.

Should I change all 3 "Pool address" to the following?
stratum+tcp://solo.ckpool.org:3333 bc1qeuupt2tgerfum8jclt8aklu9cdmzzkwml9lg7c.Lulle

Or something completely different?

~~Also where comes my own BTC address in?~~
I now see that I add my own address in here: bc1qvt20nhykjv8762elpjvv476hjx23day4vjkm4v

Should "Worker 1/2/3" just be my own name for the device for internal use?

Sorry for very basic questions, but only way to learn

Solo Pool have some downtimes (See Message)

Quote from: vincku on November 24, 2024, 11:13:47 PM

I got both pool alive. I had 2 pools set: ckpool and solo ckpool.
A few minutes ago, I realised that ckpool was dead and my ant automatically had automatically switched to the solockpool.
The newsolo ckpool seems to be alive at 25.11.2024 00:06 my Ant began to mine on it. But a few minutes later, it switched back again to solo ckpool.

25.11 At 00:06
0 stratum+tcp://newsolo.ckpool.org:3333 Alive
1 stratum+tcp://solo.ckpool.org:3333 Alive

25.11 at 00:13
0 stratum+tcp://newsolo.ckpool.org:3333 Dead
1 stratum+tcp://solo.ckpool.org:3333 Alive

If it helps...

Thanks, I'm trying to keep newsolo up as much as possible while I debug this issue, but there will be brief downtimes on it so this is not surprising.
