Quite interesting game tonight, imho. Important match for both teams, especially Leverkusen. If they lose that one, it could get tough to defend the Bundesliga title.

A relatively unspectacular 0:0 with a lucky point for Stuttgart, imho. Apart from Undav's chance in the 62nd minute, Stuttgart hardly had any dangerous chances and shouldn't have complained if they lost the game 1-0.

Eyes on Dortmund : Leipzig tonight. RB Leipzig needs a win to stay close to Bayern and Dortmund desperately needs a win after the previous poor performances. This one should be interesting.

Pretty good weekend as a FC Bayern fan tbh. We're back to a 3 point lead after RB Leipzig losing against Borussia Dortmund. And we're up already 7 points on Leverkusen and Dortmund.

If they lose a few more "easy" games this one is going to be a great season (without much sweating) for me as Bayern fan, haha.

Any good bets for the upcoming Bundesliga match day 10?

I already placed my Sportsbet.io freebet on Dortmund @2x earlier today. After all the poor performances this season, I really hop they're not losing against Mainz.

Thanks for the reminder! I don't see "Sojourner" tags but I'll try and remember to add it (or just remember Bundesliga!).

I decided to not go overboard with this week's predictions. I couldn't help myself though, I let in two supreme upsets. You just never can underestimate the effect of midweek UCL, yeah?

Hey, not bad, I actually called two upsets correctly! Strange that one only gets 2 points from 2-1 (when Mainz won 3-1), and another got me 3 points from 2-1 (Frankfurt won 3-2) -- more points given when you get the winning margin correct I guess, never occurred to me. It's as if they really don't want you to pick the upsets in all these prediction games. Only me and jeremypwr picked Bayer to lose too, the draw gave nothing to all of us.


If he can cope is the question I'll be asking here. 35 in Italy is not as demanding as the high-energy Bundesliga. Like the guy, but I think people should acknowledge where and when they can still play (while being entertaining).

Is it me, or did we have a somewhat different point system for draws last season? We used to get three points for non-exact draws, for example, if a match ended 2-2, anyone with 1-1 or even 3-3 would get three points...now it's two. Not a biggie, i just noticed it.


Marmoush from free kick yet again. He has now scored three goals from free kicks in his last three games: one against Bochum, Slavia Prague, and yesterday against Stuttgart. Even in the golden era of free-kick specialists, i can't recall anyone scoring in three straight games. He is having himself a season, isn't he? Currently the highest-rated offensive player in the Bundesliga.

That's true. Three goalless draws in one round for the Bundesliga looks like pure fantasy. I'm used to most games ending like BTTS Yes here, but this round is special. And that's even without taking into account Bayer's loss of points, Bayern's modest result and Dortmund, which forgot to show up on the pitch (one shot on target).

Nice win jeremypwr. All those upset picks and I only collected 3 more points than the top 4. Definitely feels that going for outside picks is less rewarding -- thankfully SB balances that out with some freebets, so I'll be popping my head in for another couple of surprises. Not Augsburg, though, surely? I sense some wobbly knees in the likes of Bayer and Dortmund.
