The election is just another variable in a very big equation. Obviously there are as important or more important events that could affect bitcoin's performance but this election is one of those big events. Even if it may not affect bitcoin directly, the result of the election will affect the economy in the US and the economy in the US affects the rest of the world. Since bitcoin's performance depends a lot on the world economy, It is safe to say the result of the election might have a big impact on the prices of bitcoin. Not right away after the election day but in the next 4 years.

Let's say bitcoin will still get to $100k in the future no matter who becomes the president but under Kabala that might happen in 2030 but under Trump it might happen before 2026. That's a big difference imo.

First off, I hate how Trump has gone over his crypto adoption plans so far. It looks like just another grift-like token sale and we have thousands of such. First, he took shit ton of donations. Moved to creating nft collections. Launched more donation campaigns with the perk of a raffled dinner with it and now, this world liberty crap. If Trump becomes president and does much shit like this, we should see an influx in the number of new grifters that would be joining the space.

True, for Bitcoin it didn't matter who won in 2016, but now they are trying to present it as if it will be in the bullrun of those years, there is Trump's merit. But I am sure that both in the past and now it will not matter much for Bitcoin who wins, in any case Bitcoin will grow. Trump really understands that there is a lot of money here and you are right about his NFT, but for him it is just one of the possible ways to earn money, he has a lot of money and crypto is just one of the ways to earn money.

It's just hard to compare those time, most of us hasn't been in the crypto space in 2016, and so we really don't know what Bitcoin or crypto. But after that there is the bull run in 2017 and that is the time that most of us join and even Trump has appointed a SEC chair that somewhat started the witch hunt on crypto projects.

But moving forward, when Bitcoin started it's rally and now it's the word of mouth around. Just like 2 days ago, a individual I spoke to who I also discussed Bitcoin suddenly grow interest and he mentioned about the US election and what will Trump winning the election. I said it could be huge as he is a pro-Bitcoin President.

Well polls are closed and Trump has won.

Now, there is no point in speculations and imagining what he could do to bitcoin because we will now be watching him. Was Trump serious about his promises to bitcoin? Will he implement better policies to protect and support American citizens involved in cryptocurrency? Will cryptocurrency grow in the country during his term?

This is the time we will see and I hope he delivers because everything he has said/done in the campaign would mean nothing if he doesn’t actually take action while he is at the white house.

However, if his words would be gone into action - who knows how the community would react to it  Interesting to see how a big man will go after BTC and how the whole show will go down because of that. We are in for a ride!

Each of us uses bitcoin for our own purposes, no two are alike, and supporting bitcoin will also be expressed in many different ways. Satoshi created bitcoin to be a peer to peer currency, but you turned it into an investment to make profit, you are misusing it for the purpose satoshi intended. So do you really support bitcoin and satoshi's idea?

Just because someone doesn't think like us and uses bitcoin for different purposes than we do doesn't mean they don't support bitcoin. You can't say that just because he didn't read the white paper or doesn't care about the decentralized nature of bitcoin means he doesn't like or support it.
I know there are a lot of investors who have never read the white paper and don't care about its decentralization, the only thing they want is profit from it and they own a lot of bitcoins. So what do you call them?

We still don't know what he will do with bitcoin after he is elected, but as long as he enacts soft policies, supports its growth and makes it more popular, we can be sure that he is a pro-bitcoin president.
