This is one of the first thing you are supposed to check out before you use a casino. They claim to have a Curaçao licence, but there is no proof showing this. Perhaps they just lied.

They are listed on btcgosu.com, maybe I will give @efialtis a heads-up regarding this. Perhaps he could try to review the casinoguru unresolved cases to avoid them ripping off users via his platform in case they just decided to scam people.

In addition, I can only see one or two rules there that could warrant seizing the player funds, and that's if the user somehow gained an unfair advantage and used loopholes to get their winnings, any other violation should only warrant a permanent account closure at best, with all funds sent to the users address.

They've been inactive for ~2 years so they will likely miss whatever happens on that thread and this forum in general, but at least it will be a good deterrent for anyone who looks them up through bitcointalk and may be able to get their attention somehow.

Thanks for informing me, I appreciate it. As you guys probably know, I really do care a lot about brands featured on BTCGOSU treating players fairly. And that`s why I immediately contacted Thunderpick about this and here`s their feedback:

"Regarding https://bt.irlbtc.com/view/5514673.0: The player was notified about which point of the regulations he had violated. This point reveals the exact reason why the account was blocked."

"Regarding the license: Thunderpick does have license, but the site link is with .com. It is in the process of updating."

I have met the people from Thunderpick several times in person and I have to say that I trust them and take them for a serious operation.

OP, as per efialtis's contact's statement, they've outlined the clause you breached that grant your account closure. You briefly mentioned on the opening post that they tell you it's 15.1. Upon checking, 15.1 is a very broad clause that's rather [IMO] inadequate to give a clear details of what being breached:

However, those screenshots are set to be private by CG's mediator and none of us can see it. Do you mind to reupload them to talkimg so it will be visible for us? Perhaps there is a better explanation and/or something that could help us understand the situation better from those screenshots.

Thunderpick team should tell the specific reason for blocking a user account instead of highlighting the big rules set from the terms. It is indeed alarming when a casino doesn't want to deal with a 3rd party mediator to solve a dispute. I just sent an email to their support by asking them to give a reply here by highlighting the specific reason. I doubt that will give a response here.

I was also thinking to remove them from my topics. But I noticed that OP still have the option to appeal against the decision to the "Dispute Resolution Office (DRO)". I'm wondering why OP hasn't tried to reach them yet.

As they've explained and you've also found out, their licensing status is "in progress". I am not sure under whom were they previously licensed, but to be fair, this does not necessarily translates as their license being not valid. Curacao is under a massive uphaul in their gambling licensing system, and I guess thunderpick just a bit late in joining the transition.



Might worth to mention that suppose the status is having a "valid certificate of operation", you still can't lodge a complaint to GCB as they're currently not mediating disputes.

So, to summarize, the license being "in progress" does not necessarily translates they're a rogue casino. They're simply waiting for the vetting process [or whatever is currently ongoing] to be done. And, given GCB does not mediate for the time being, DRO is the current best way.

The same thing happened to me, they closed my account for the same reason as well and didn't specify any further (this was about a month ago).
The balance on the account was much larger though - around 8700 dollars.
This site should not be allowed to operate, absolute fraud company.
Basically they allow all the losers on the site, but once you start winning there they block/close your account. Don't be fooled by the people posting huge winnings in their chat there - these
people are down significantly.

I don’t know, maybe it’s just standard practice for most casinos to point out sections in their TOS that you supposedly violated without specifying the exact issue, that’s why it’s really important to make sure you gamble on a reputable casino. From what I’ve observed, casinos running promotions on the forum are usually honest. So, my suggestion for those who enjoy gambling is to check out casinos here with ANN threads. Look at their activity, if they’re active, it’s a good sign they care about their reputation.

The problem here is that this issue has been brought up in the forum, but we can’t really do much since the casino is no longer using the platform. That means it doesn’t hurt their reputation if they scam people.
