I suspect that’s exactly what happened. These scammers are experts at what they do, their main job is to scam people. They rehearse and refine their tactics to make themselves more convincing.

sometimes we cannot blame the victims, even though it’s their fault for falling for it as there are moments when you’re caught off guard, and all you can think about are the benefits you’ll gain, completely ignoring the risks involved. It’s unfortunate, but that’s how they trap people. 

It's not easy to earn money, I think we all agree about that but it's not also easy to spend money. It's very strange that these people managed to make them set up a wallet and fund it with crypto. I mean, these are so many steps that someone should have thought lots of times before doing that. Anyways, it is what it is and they successfully managed to scam people. There is no way to stop these kind of scams because it's the fault of people who got scammed, not the fault of scammers.

Scammers are expert when they come with innovation and scam in a very creative way. This method, that's described in the article, doesn't make them smart or experts. These people that they scammed, were simply far from smart. You set up a wallet, fund it with crypto and then believe their promise that they'll let you withdraw it later, doesn't simply make sense to me.

I set my mindset to when someone or something ask you to fund a wallet then it's a scam. For that reason, I  believe that everything that let you spend money in order to work with tempting offers are scam. To be honest, this is not new and it has been happening for a long time already just like the ponzi scheme projects that tempt their victims with good earning. One more thing, how would someone know that you are looking for a job when you didn't even announce that you are looking for a job.

The same message that I've received as well through that app. A job offer but I was not convinced and I didn't entertain it. One more, not from any messaging app but someone directly called me and told me about the job offer and I didn't oblige. The accent was familiar to me but I'm not discriminating anyone with that because I have a bad accent too. I wonder where these people are getting our numbers when I didn't signed up for a lot of websites with my very private number.

I would have be a victim of job offering scam if not that I was fortunate enough to discover that it was a scam. It happens few months ago I got a mail from a job board in regard to employment for petroleum engineer role in sinopec in refinery they are developing in Cameron so I applied for the job, after some days I received another mail with atteached assesment form for online interview so filled the assesment form and sent back to them which they inturn replied me that I was successful for the job that my pay will be $42 per hour and I was very excited but behold I was very fortunate to discover that it was a scam when they told me that I will be the one to pay for my accomodation for a month before they will relocate me to the company camp and they send me phone number of the accomodation agent that I will call to help me look for the accomodation so I called the agent and he told me that I will pay $100000 for the accomodation.
We have to be very careful especially those that are looking for job, there are a lot of scamming strategies going on now using job offering.

Among all the scams out there, this one might be on the smaller scale since, usually, people looking for jobs are more aware of the industry they’re trying to enter. Most of what I see are investment scams or those so-called HYIPs.

But still, this is worth spreading because, as you said, awareness is key, so while the number of people scammed in this area might be low now, it could grow in the future as more people get interested in crypto but lack the knowledge to spot red flags. So we'll help to prevent that from happening.

That is why we need to be vigilant and not try to do something if we do not have the right knowledge so that what happens can actually result in financial losses. The scammers have done some tests and they come to a conclusion when committing fraud and they look for people who are indeed easier to scam. There is a saying that says, don't trust anyone because they can stab us in the back and maybe that is useful to apply now because the system that works online is much easier to scam if someone does not understand it.

The scammers no longer consider right or wrong because they are doing the job we as victims should be more careful and not easily tempted by the big returns that are promised. Think realistically and seek benefits according to the work we know so that caution can be considered more.

The scammers these days smarter than before as they can use many ways to scam people who lack of information. So that will not a surprise if more people getting scams by them because they don't want to search for more to get more information about the offers.

If that is happen to us and we see the offers, we must make sure everything before we decide. It is no problem if we use our time to research about the offers so that will gives us more info so we know if we can participates in that offers or we can skip that offers.

We must have responsibility to take care of ourselves as we have our funds and we use that funds for anything we want. But when we have more information about the offers, we will know what we must do. We don't just to join in a hurry before we know more the offers.

Malicious scammers exploit people’s need for new jobs and lucrative salaries by tricking them with text messages, calls, and emails. These tempting job offers have been repeatedly found on BTT and other forums. They usually target victims with phishing sites, fake domains that impersonate official exchange domains, and files containing Trojans or similar malware.

Victims usually discover the truth about these scammers too late., as they trust the instructions given to them because they know that they are dealing with legitimate employers who will help them secure a job and a source of income... It is necessary to avoid tempting offers (It's too good to be true)... We must be careful when dealing with strangers and not give them excessive blind trust, not believe everything they ask of us when it comes to money, do verification and research and secure our computers and wallets adequately, and make sure of the reputation of the job provider and the offer's legitimacy.
