Yes, you are going to draw unwanted attention to yourself. If a visitor knows how expensive the artwork cost they want to ask more questions.

If you done want these to happen then you should place the artwork in a part of your house where only you and family members can see it. Don't go taking pictures of it and telling us on the internet page where you share it about your history of investing in Bitcoin.

I'm not conversant with any Bitcoin artist and I am hearing about Lucho Poletti for the first time ( I might read about him). I have seen some fine Bitcoin related artwork from some members of the forum and I love some of them. However, I will not like to keep anything that connects me to Bitcoin in my environment.  My concerns is the misconception in my country by most people that anybody who owns Bitcoin is rich. Living in a country with some security issues this could make one a target of these criminals.  It will be better to be security conscious because you don't know who is monitoring you.

The right word will be trusted family members.  But these days it is becoming difficult to trust people considering the rate at which the love for money is increasing everyday.  The news sometimes carry stories of how close family members or friends harm people because they want to steal from them. I might not be correct but if you are security conscious it will be better to keep your connections with Bitcoin secret and disclose it to just one or two trusted people.

Secondly, you might not be able to control who comes into your room especiallyif you are not living alone. Sometimes children can easily bring their friends into any room at home and they could expose what you are keeping secret. Except you live in a relatively secures area or you accept Bitcoin in your business, it is better not to expose anything that will give people hints that your own Bitcoin..because the days are evil.

It is just a work of art and if the painting is very interesting and beautiful to look at then people will judge it as a beautiful painting without any other words other than Bitcoin which I think people will not think negatively because it is not certain that the person who owns the Bitcoin painting has a lot of Bitcoin or even not much at all.

And most importantly we should not show off the luxury of wealth because it has the potential to cause crime because bad people will be more interested if they can make money and it is easy to get it, because Bitcoin is not that easy and it depends on each individual how to secure it because Bitcoin is intangible and it is just a painting. And my question is, so far has there ever been a case of a Bitcoin painting owned by someone who has negative things that harm the owner of the painting. Because I once found a Bitcoin painting or Bitcoin graffiti on a fence wall and everything was fine and even used as a place to take pictures if the writing or picture was interesting.

Not necessarily. You might be just an eccentric person who enjoys modern art. Bitcoin is money, and by just displaying its logo through art, it doesn't mean you have a lot of coins in your wallet. I guess thieves are more interested in wealthy goods. If you were displaying a fancy watch, car or jewel you would become an instant target for them. But since it's a Bitcoin art, most of them won't even pay attention to it...

Just don't tell people how much you hold in BTC, and you must be fine. That is the most important thing to be careful about. And when they start asking such questions to you, reply them you don't own much and that you are just a beginner or learner on this field yet.

Definitely you're risking your privacy, it's fine to own art or anything related to Bitcoin, but better to use it for personal instead of letting someone know if you really like Bitcoin. If I were you, I will hide the painting in secret place, just like the way I hide my seed phrase.

If you have a private life, live with minimalist lifestyle, never ask for money etc anything related to simple and private, people will judge you rich because you're just stay lowkey. This is different if you often ask for money and bad grooming, they will think you're broke.

I would also have the impression that the place where there is an image of Bitcoin connects the owner with it. Especially if we talk about those people who are generally far from Bitcoin, they would hardly think about drawings. I have seen a lot of clothes with Bitcoin logos, but I am probably too secretive to wear T-shirts or sweatshirts, showing my interest. But to be honest, I feel some betrayal of what I am interested in, but I am not ready to show it to the whole world, since this can cause many questions and unnecessary speculation. But while Bitcoin is not in the zone that can be calmly talked about and shown to many, let it remain only in some personal places.

It depends on your neighborhood perspective on Bitcoin to determine the result of showing Bitcoin arts in your house.

In my case, my neighbors doesn’t even have any idea about Bitcoin and don’t bother to ask me since I have a Bitcoin logo in my house door and in my car yet I don’t experience any bad effect or if someone even care. My country is not that focus on Bitcoin and consider it as high risk since it was attached to many multiple scam here that being televised.

However, there’s country like US that think holding Bitcoin means you’re rich because of its popularity so it’s really a bad idea to put any attraction that will lead that you are a Bitcoin holder.

this reminds me of the usage of the phrase btc boys to represents guys that are in the crypto space and that have a lot of money. anyone that sees you flaunting an art that represents bitcoin will normally think that you have some chunk of bitcoin holding even though that alone is not enough reason to attract bad people to you that might want to harm you. i have used bitcoin sign as my phone wallpaper and have equally seen others doing same. what comes to my mind when i see such thing is that this individual is of the same niche with me. chances are that the person doesn't even hold some bitcoin or that even if he holds one, it might not be all that much.

As much as it is good to be safety cautious, other people that believes in other system of finance do make use of arts that represents those things and it doesn't pose much threat to them. even without flaunting an art, just by letting people see a certain exchange in your phone is enough for them to know that you are into crypto. it is just left for you to keep your asset safe and keep it in a custody that even if they attempt getting it forcefully from you, they can never get it so easily.
