Do I regret every purchase I made by spending bitcoins? I think yes. But here's something to think about, did i use this money in dollars or in bitcoins?
Yes, if we had never spent bitcoins, we would have millions of dollars. But with the bitcoins we used, we bought things, we invested. so we shouldn't regret the things we bought. If we have such regret, we shouldn't have spent anything at all. It's almost impossible to achieve

If we don't want to regret it, we have to ensure that our wallet is full of bitcoin in the future

I don't remember the exact amount how many units of Bitcoin would the money for an iPhone 4 would have gotten a person, but I believe it would be enough savings to retire early and live a simple lifestyle.

BTC is an ultimate store of value now, but will it become a true alternative to fiat? We will truly see.

It may be used now for bigger purchases, but it is not seen as the best option to do something else with it - at least yet! 

It's not time yet to use BTC in such a way - surely, it can be done, but it hasn't been adapted yet to such a reality where it would be a true alternative to be used daily.

Very practical, and I think this is the main reason why many people don't use bitcoin as a payment method. We have altcoins with cheaper and faster transaction fees, why do we use bitcoin to pay more and take longer? It is truly an irresponsible luxury, not something to be proud of.

Similar to many other countries, bitcoin is not yet considered a legal means of payment in my country, but even if it were legal, fees are still high and the speed is still slow. I also wouldn't use Bitcoin instead of fiat or altcoins unless I became so rich that I no longer cared if it was expensive or cheap.

Nah, I don't really regret past transactions with bitcoin even if they appear overpriced now. Like Laszlo stated those early trades helped Bitcoin expand, and that's quite nice. Plus you can't time everything exactly. I just see it as part of the trip

Yes. But even the Lightning Network is somewhat complicated to use. People want something simple enough for making day-to-day payments. And what better way to do this than using the main Blockchain itself? Since Bitcoin is often expensive and slow, people resort to altcoins out of convenience. Even if alts are widely unproven and centralized. If Bitcoin had better on-chain transaction capacity, things would've been different by now.

I don't envision people using Bitcoin as a currency anytime soon. Not as long as mainstream media and "Wall Street" continue to spread propaganda that Bitcoin is the next "Digital Gold". People will hoard more BTC than spend it on goods/services. Fortunately, Bitcoin is "free" (as in liberty) and open to anyone. You're free to use it as you wish. As long as you don't break the law, there should be nothing to worry about.
