For bringing signature campaign all through this year. I guess he is the most signature campaign posted in service section.

I love how they run or manage their events here in bitcointalk, it like ninja. lol

For this me this is the best event as I really enjoy it. It's my first time joining a sportsbetting pool and it is super exciting.

Just visit reputation board and it will explain everything.

Nothing beats these two with it comes creating ANN thread.

I know I'm from the Philippines but I feel how Igebotz becoming hero for their local board

Mia Chloe is Mia Chloe

Satoshi is a legend and absolutely had to be here. Theymos is carrying on his legacy very well. icopress is also earning everyone's admiration for what they're doing.

Both members have made tremendous contributions to the forum. I admire them both individually; they do excellent work.

I've listed the people who come to mind when you think of Bitcoin Geeks. Many users could be candidates, but these are the top 3 that came to mind.

These awards are also very important. For us, the most important achievement this year was our monthly prediction competition. Many members make predictions, and it creates a lot of excitement for us every month.

I've listed our local helpful members here. Lachrymose, in particular, starts very good threads on the forum and tries to help everyone. Mandown, who works in the technology field, answers every question. Wake Up creates very helpful threads for beginners.

EFS has witnessed thousands of events within the forum since 2013 and is, in my opinion, a hero of our forum. Lachrymose is a member who helps users with his knowledge. Wake Up's contributions to the forum are also very valuable. He has been sponsoring our "Guessing" topic for a few months.

This is my votes. Thanks all forum members. Thanks,

It probably looks like a piece of cake to some, but I am sure that it is not easy at all to do what theymos has been doing for years and to deal with that kind of responsibility. Regarding suchmoon, in my opinion he is one of the best posters on the forum, and I wish he were more active.

It would be hard to magine bitcointalk without those users and their tools that I use on basically the daily basis.

GazetaBitcoin wrote some of the more interesting posts about bitcoin and its signifance on this forum, while dkbit98 and examplens are the guys I would contact if I had some questions regarding bitcoin or any issues regarding it whatsoever.

As a big fan of home make pizzas, and even bigger fan of bitcoin themed pizzas, for me no event beats that, especially in the last year or two when it as pushed to another level by our member's skill and imagination.

I liked ninjastic.space, and now it evolved into even something bigger, which is BitList. Having said that, I am still getting used to it, and I miss some things that ninjastic.space had.

I've seen his name around throughout the years, but I didn't know until recently that he is a very capable alt account buster as well.

I am nominating holydarkness for his role in mediating between casinos and those who think they have been wronged by them, while nutildah and lovesmayfamilis for their scam busting work and keeping the forum better place for us all.

Cro2 team is behind the best gambling board thing going on, Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League. It takes time just to participate in it, and I don't even wanna think about how much time they spend running that thing for 3 years now.
I am also nominating icopress for having a positive impact on how signature campaigns have been run in recent years and for organizing initiatives such as this one.

Activity in our local board has been declining for quite some time, and sudden appereance of katanic97 and the effort he put really made our local board more lively, while slackovic has been consistently our most active member year after year, without whose spam our local board wouldn't be the same. Pmalek is another important member of our local board who beside being a very knowledgeable guy also helped our lower ranking members reaching higher ranks.

Every time I stumble upon her somewhere on the forum, that iconic Jimi Hendrix song comes to mind. Sapienti sat.

I think achow101 is a name that does not get mentioned a lot in awards and recognition threads but he does vital work to moving around threads to their correct boards. He is also busy posting on technical aspects of Bitcoin too. The post history shows regular postings in the Development & Technical Discussion board as well as continuing with his forum moderation role.

I voted for Mitchell because he too is diligently busy moving around threads to their correct location after they were created in the wrong boards. His post history (as with achow101) consistently shows the words "This topic has been moved to" and that is because he is helping to tidy the forum from unnecessary clutter. Remaining mostly behind the scenes and yet providing an important service, that does deserve recognition.

No matter who Satoshi was and no matter how many people were involved in creating Bitcoin and using the "Satoshi Nakamoto" name, without Bitcoin this forum would not exist. The huge number of members that have made this forum their home and have received financial benefit from it, have to thank Satoshi Nakamoto for being the Hero of the Good.

For a very long time, Vapourminer has consistently been meriting posts both current and those from threads that were long forgotten.  I cannot recall having any interaction with him however he is one of the very few merit source members that proactively distributes merits across a wide range of threads and boards, it is not uncommon to find he has merited posts from weeks and months ago because he silently goes around meriting posts that maybe did not receive any at the time. A forum ninja helping others without seeking any attention for himself.

It was not a difficult selection to vote for TryNinja because even though I cannot recall a single instance where I have interacted with TryNinja considering the number of years both of us have been using the forum, I have noted his contributions especially in the Beginners and Help board where he has over 1000 posts. Having said that, the collaboration between icopress and TryNinja that has incorporated the Ninjastic project within the Bitlist project to help the community navigate mixers, exchanges and the Bitcointalk archive should definitely be acknowledged. The member name is very apt, TryNinja is a forum Ninja

Also, it was not difficult to vote for icopress too. He is more associated with campaign management but the fact he launched Bitlist and then the Ninjastic project has been merged with it demonstrates that icopress is not just a manager and organiser but also has a keen eye to work away from the forum and the limelight to have the vision to operate external projects.

To educate and encourage members to run their own nodes, NotATether created the Run A Bitcoin Node: 14 Days To 14 Merits thread and deserves credit for modifying the participation structure when it became apparent that some members were taking advantage of his goodwill by cheating. The system will probably be 100% scam-proof because determined individuals and/or scheming account farmers will finds way to navigate around the protection features. None of that can take away the initiative that NotATether launched to bring those with limited technical skills to run their own node. He also is the founder of the BitMixList project, a website primarily designed to navigate the complexities of mixers.

JayJuanGee was the other nomination because his enthusiasm for Bitcoin can be seen by the contents of his posts. Over the years, JayJuanGee has been posting consistently with a passion especially when providing advice and explanations to many with regards to Bitcoin investment strategies. Posting in the WO is not something that I focus on at all, it is probably at the bottom of my to-do list and there has been controversy about the merit distribution there but keeping that thread aside JayJuanGee is also meriting a lot of posts across the forum.

I have a lot of respect for members that are organising various contents and competitions because they work in a constructive manner for the community to get together and participate in a common endeavour. I have chosen the Bitcointalk Community Awards because every year there is a lot of buzz around the awards whenever the time for voting approaches. I usually do not participate in competitions and contests, I cannot recall the last time I did (even though I had created some myself in the past for the Games and Rounds board) yet here I am participating by casting my votes.

Another event is the Pizza Day Contest, every year there anticipation about the prizes on offer for those that bake a pizza. Yes it has been open to abuse by account farmers and cheats but many of those elements have addressed and the scope for misuse is getting smaller. The contest is early awaited by many that have been brushing up on their baking skills in preparation of submitting their entry. I have not entered the contest myself but those that have upload a timeline of pizza photos to capture their work in action. There is definitely a degree of pride while members are showcasing their pizzas and it is (mostly) all in a well-mannered accepting environment.

When I read the new forum software was being shelved after all the work and finance that was put in trying to make it work, I was both disappointed and relieved by the failure of Epochtalk. Disappointed because it was a wasted journey that promised so much for for so long yet failed to deliver of anything that was worthy or tangible. At the same time there was relief because we were no longer waiting for (nor anticipating) a new forum as we were told we would using the one we have for the foreseeable future. As a result of the payments that were made to the developers that did not deliver, the sheer value of USD$ that the Bitcoin amounted to, many members were probably happy that the episode was over.

A whole archive containing over 54 million Bitcointalk posts. BitList has list of exchanges and mixers as well as many other features for the community to use for free. It also helps those not affiliated with the forum by allowing interested parties to browse exchanges and mixers and check up on other information related to debit cards. Since merging with the Ninjastic project and having an updated website, this project is a serious one-stop access point for those that want to utilise free information.

BitMixList has some similarities to BitList because it is listing mixers but it cannot be compared because they have two different formats even though they provide information to those browsing their respective websites. NotATether has problems hosting his website after his then host decided to remove his project but instead of giving up he moved his project to a different host and had built upon his website with improvements.

The Rainbet Fantasy Premier League is an exciting project. I have been participating in the league for the first time this season and have found the experience exciting. Trying to accumulate more points than your fellow competitors on a near-weekly basis is fun, there is a lot of tactical planning when using transfers and substitutes but it does not always bring rewards (as I have learned). I felt this project deserved a mention because it has brought both fun and frustration ever since I joined the league (and no doubt the many other participants managing their teams)

I did not have to think a lot about who to nominate for this, it had to be Satofan44. Without a doubt he has frustrated some members with his rather direct action approach (and his feedback reflects the situation) but what cannot be denied is that he is knowledgeable when it relates to Bitcoin, blockchains and crypto in general. His technical skills have brought a lot of information and clarity to many members from his informative posts. His direct action no-nonsense approach is different to how the majority of members post but that variation does bring a different angle

After that, the only other name that came to mind was AakZaki. He is not a newly registered member but I nominated him because he has recently started posting in the Reputation board to expose account farms. As some of you might know, I regularly post in the Reputation board therefore I have noticed AakZaki taking an interest in exposing account farms and signature campaign cheats. When exposing nefarious conduct here complexities that I am fully aware of that must be contemplated therefore I had to nominate AakZaki as I am pleasantly surprised by his efforts. The forum is infested with nefarious characters and account farmers that are here for one reason and that is to enroll in campaigns for monetary purposes. Their aim is to contribute as little as possible but want to generate an income by any means. if some of their activities can be derailed or slowed down, it serves a good purpose for the forum ambience.

Apart from running signature campaigns, both of these campaign managers are running other projects in the forum (such as contests and events). Whether arts and crafts or casting a vote, they have been active (better to state proactive) in their approach. Both of these fantastic people have contributed immensely over the years to this forum. They have been responsible for overseeing signature campaign, bounties and competitions that have resulted in thousands of USD$ being paid to participants thus keeping members attached to this forum (as they receive monetary incentives) and by extension operating a mini-economy that helps provide payments to many members from what western country citizens would describe as 'poor' countries.

Their activities in their own right have to be considered a craft and both Hhampuz and icopress are real Craft Masters.

At the time of posting, a staggering 55.4% of posts by gmaxwell have been in the "Development & Technical Discussion". He has posted for very long time bringing an informative and educational angle. His posts in several other boards strengthen the view that he has been helping across the board and his posts carry value. He is a well respected member of the forum and sometimes is overlooked for what he has contributed to the forum over the years with advice and technical expertise.

Satofan44 has been active in the forum giving a lot of advice in technical matters. It seems as though he is in his element when he posts about Bitcoin and the blockchain, he corrects some errors when others posts and he provides a lot of information. Those that have read posts by Satofan44 are already aware of his no-nonsense style when he posts but that attitude cannot detract from the fact he has immense technical knowledge and he shared it on a regular basis.

With the help of his "Users who spread false/fake/unhelpful information on technical board" thread, ABCbits has been helping the forum highlighting accounts that have been posting unhelpful replies in the Technical board. Going on to leave tags for those accounts has certainly been a deterrent to those that were posting nonsense for the sake of increasing their post count to meet their signature criteria in order to be paid. There have been some complaints that some of the tags were unnecessary and/or over-zealous but some claims were made by accounts trying to their their neutral tags removed and maybe a minority that genuinely felt they did not deserve the tag. Keeping that aside, the contribution by ABCbits has been noted and for that reason nominated.

Adding further comments after posting those above, at the time of posting there is a statistic that is verifiable on Bitlist that cannot be understated because TryNinja has made 36.9% of his posts in the Portuguese board. Even though I am not posting there myself, someone dedicating that much time for the local board has to be mentioned. I am sure those that frequent the Portuguese board appreciate the time and focus he dedicates there.

As mentioned I do not use a local board, I post in the global boards but when I find myself looking at either the post history of a member or browsing local boards, I have noticed igebotz floats in and out of the Nigeria board. Yes he contributes both in the local board as well as the global boards including football threads we post in (and many other threads too) but the contributions in the local board cannot be ignored. I am sure the members that use the local board appreciate his contributions.

I have zero hesitation in nominating lovesmayfamilis in this section. She has been active in the Reputation board for a long time and has been exposing cheats and farmed accounts for a long time. The value that conduct brings to the forum by helping to cleanse it from account farmers, cheats and other nefarious actors is immense. I have been posting on and off in the Scam Accusations and the Reputation boards for a very long time, when I see the effort made behind some of the work lovesmayfamilis does in the Reputation board, it should be recognised. The Miss Bitcointalk title is a fitting tribute for her.

I know... the nomination may seem strange... But I thought a lot of it... and I am thinking a lot of these people, since the war started. For me, all are heroes. Living in a war zone, remaining many times without electricity, without utilities yet still doing their daily lives, working, and, most important, defending their country. Some of them are among us. They are heroes too, as all the other people from this country. I can not make a nomination for 3 names, but I am nominating all the people living there.

These were my nominees last year as well... Nothing changed in in the last year, therefore I am nominating same names. LoyceV kept doing what he is doing for years in a row. Best statistician! Followed by DdmrDdmr, which also does the same thing for years... I don't think anyone can do better tables, charts or statistics. As about fillippone, his essays have been translated so far 80 times, in 19 languages. This shows how much knowledge he brought to the forum and to all these local boards!

Again, I will nominate PowerGlove for this year as well. His involvement in multiple improvements for the forum but also in multiple events brought plus-value. He left a mark in the places he passed through. Additionally, I am nominating JJG at this category. When he is talking about Bitcoin it feels like a mentor is talking. He is thorough, very thorough and his posts always are valuable.

First two contests became already a tradition. As about the cooking contest from Naija board, I was delighted to see that Mia Chloe organized it again. There were many participants and all prepared very nice dishes. I wish I could have tasted them all!

AOBT will turn 3 years old now and the project became well known. In fact, AOBTers were invited also by the owner of ATT to migrate there, being promised to have same ranks One year ago there were 350+ translations made by AOBT into multiple local boards, sharing best essays to users from those local boards. Until now there are more hundreds of topics translated. If anyone wishes to see all the translations dane, they are all listed here.

Mia is not a new user, but the achievements she did in the recent past made me "discover" her, to say so, therefore I am mentioning her at this category. She organized the cooking contest from Naija board, also the New Year's contest; also, she became a Merit Source... It's a lot for only one year!

LoyceV is present allover the forum. When someone asks a question, he's always there to answer and help. Still doubting he is human, lol, but even if he weren't there was no rule for not nominating non-humans
nutildah took his skill to level of excellency. I was writing last year about how he developed a talent for finding AI generated posts. He kept improving his skill during time. I was wondering how would have the forum been without nutildah and his work... I think things would have been very bad without him...
As about lovesmayfamilis, she kept being one of the kindest users here, helping with thorough answers when others were in need, while also doing her best in the fight against spam and plagiarists.

I wish I could have nominated more than 3 users... I found other users which would have fit so well in this category.
Porfirii is the one which created AOBT. Now that the project reached somehow a maturity and kept existing and evolving, I consider nominating his creator is suitable. He crafted AOBT, which "absorbed" forum's finest translators.
jayce is probably most contacted signature creator This says everything about his skill in this field.
And icopress -- we all know how many campaigns he managed; how many contests he organized... his reputation precedes him.

Nominating NF for the second year in a row! It's not much activity inside Romanian local board, but whenever someone posts something there or asks a question, NF is present!

Our queen will always be Miss BitccoinTalk for me The never ending discussion about her gender are just for spicing the things!
lovesmayfamilis is such friendly and kind! She always fits perfectly in this category.
Mia Chloe - due to her recent incredible achievements (mentioned above), I want to nominate her too this year.

Issue of note: I want to add also that I wanted to have the possibility to mention other remarkable users as well, at different categories, but only 3 could fit at a particular category. I would have surely mentioned also Halab, holydarkness, paid2, Becassine, Etranger, suchmoon, The Pharmacist, NotATether, Upgrade00, achow, yahoo62278, pooya87, joker_josue, apogio, 1miau, Rikafip and many others... Chapeau to all of you, which keep this forum alive!

It was hard work selecting the members below, these are sincere votes. Some I've had in mind for a while, as I've spent more time with them. I would like to nominate more members, but unfortunately I can only vote for 3 in each category. But know that you are all incredible!!!

Here are my nominations:

HI-TEC99: I will never forget this user, he was one of the first to be very helpful to me, assisting me throughout the process of decrypting the Bitcoin Wallet Android wallet backup (schildbatch wallet). That's where my journey on the forum began. He is no longer active, I hope he is well!

HCP: This is another member who helped me a lot in the early days to solve the same problem above. Yes, it took me weeks or months to fully understand what I was doing wrong. He is also inactive, he also deserves a tribute.

Pmalek: He and I are involved in almost all technical discussions and we almost always interact with each other. I'm impressed by his technique and precision in suggesting or solving problems.

ABCbits: This guy is really cool, I really enjoy reading his posts, most are precise and technical, plus I come across him in most of the forum discussions and boards (that I participate in). I like him a lot.

vapourminer: I don't know who he is, but he's a mysterious guy and I think he has a strong presence on the forum. I see him more as an observer (although I consider myself one too), anyway, he has his ninja style.

LoyceV: I can't forget this guy, good presence on the forum, always involved in technical discussions, and if I'm not mistaken, he's the type of guy who posts something philosophical, anyway, always helping newbies and experienced users.

nc50lc: What can I say about this guy? He usually always understands the technical context of a discussion and almost always proposes a solution to your problem.

dkbit98: I like reading his posts, he has a lot of knowledge to share and I always see him suggesting solutions, his pow is comprehensive and with a good argument, technical and precise in the subjects.

TryNinja: Whenever I remember bitlist.co I will remember him, he is a very present guy and has a lot of knowledge to share, he contributed a lot developing tools like bitlist.co for the forum, he is an excellent programmer.

Guys, I love pizzas, I think it was the best recipe I know, so the nomination couldn't be anything else. Just seeing the participants' pizzas makes me hungry...

My vote goes to them because I really like the project and I'm confident it has a lot of room to grow on the forum. After eXch. shut down, I didn't see any other free-kyc exchanges, it was after its emergence that other services with similar proposals reappeared. May privacy always prevail!

He is a very kind member of our community, always involved with political and philosophical discussions. I was impressed by his development on the forum. I don't remember exactly when I noticed him, but in a short time he reached the Hero rank! Well done!

Mia Chloe: This year I'm putting her in this category. She's a dear friend of mine and I enjoy reading her posts whenever  I come across her amidst the forum discussions.

DdmrDdmr: What I have to say about him is that he does a great job on Bitcointalk on Meta, always cataloging members in his posts who are close to reaching the next rank, which helps identify members who are gaining traction and space in the forum. He always recognizes good posts that deserve plenty of merits.

Hhampuz: He is one of the most respected managers on the forum and a very honest guy. I've never had any problems working with him, he's a really cool guy, I like him.

icopress: He is also one of the most respected managers on the forum, honest, and he's already offered to solve a problem I had. He's a very helpful and really nice guy.

AB de Royse777: I've had the pleasure of working on some of his campaigns. You can see that he has a lot of professionalism and passion for what he does. He's an indispensable member of the forum. Very honest. Anyway, all the people listed in this category share the same level of professionalism, honesty are friendly.

bitmover: Bitmover is a sincere guy, great at giving suggestions and and has a lot of knowledge. He participates in almost all discussions in our board community.

sabotag3x: He's a guy I've known since my early days on the forum. He's one of the oldest users on our board, always posting and sharing knowledge in our community.

rdluffy: He's a sincere guy, always helpful, and always sharing his knowledge, he's a very friendly guy.

Mindyspace is an amazing woman and also a recent discovery on this forum. She's gradually gaining recognition, makes great posts, and I interact with her whenever I can. She has everything it takes to become a Legendary, and I hope she stays with us for a long time.

He has been personally helpful to me

When it comes to consistency, then it's definitely JayJuanGee, the very first time I came across his comment, I was glued to it, I read it and was like wow. The second and the third time I read his comments again, I was like, is this a human or a robot. I'm like, how can someone be this knowledgeable and consistent on bitcoin talks without relenting.

Nill

Kudos to Mia Chloe for organising this very contest, it's the first I have truly been in that I feel among because that particular contest is one of my hobbies.

Nill

Nill

These two are the mods of the thread I love the most which is the gambling thread alongside my local board thread.

Nill

These two has held up the NAIJA local board rightly and deserves my vote on this category.

The few females I have come across in the forum so far.
