Brazil is like all other national teams and can not maintain their success a long time. Since a third World Cup title in 1970, it takes them decades till a fourth title in World Cup 1994, and this time is something similar even a little bit longer. Since a fifth title in World Cup 2002, Brazil don't have any other titles and even did not go to any final match since 2002.
They have big problems in the last two decades with less star players grown up and it affects player resource for their national team. They no longer have world class wing backs like Cafu, Roberto Carlos, Dani Alves and Marcelo, in the midfield they no longer have quality midfielders like Kaka, Ronaldinho, Juninho and remember that in the past even Juninho had to accept a substitution role. In attacking front line, they no longer have Ronaldo, Rivaldo and Adriano, and the fact is Neymar is a best player they have had in the last two decades.
Vinicius, Rodrygo and Endrick were mentioned recent years but they have yet reached to Neymar level, not yet Ronaldo, Rivaldo or Adriano level. If Brazil want to return to their golden time, they must work with their youth academy system and focus more on youth player developments in Brazil.
I think they did have a few star players here and there but not with the kind of Aura that the old boys had. I mean Marcelo, Neymar, Casemiro, Philippe Coutinho, Raphinha, Paulinho, Vini, Fabinho, Dani Alves, Rodrygo(now a shadow of his past), Fernandinho, Gabriel Jesus, Gabriel dos Santos Magalhães (very solid center back), Ederson, Alisson Becker and so many others. What makes such players go to the top level is actually trying had a winning things like the word cup. If they had, the way we look at them would be totally different.
