The chances of losing all the private keys are very low, because I have stored my Bitcoin wallet key very securely. And I have informed my trusted person about my key, when I die they will be able to recover my Bitcoin holdings. So if everyone follows such a strategy then you will not easily lose your Bitcoin wallet key and you will not lose your Bitcoin.

It’s not possible for all private keys to be lost, but it IS possible for a huge % to be over time. We already have estimates of 3-4M BTC lost forever from early days. Satoshi’s coins, Mt.Gox, forgot that drives, dead people. So, all won’t happen but more and more will that’s the reality. Lost coins don’t help price if demand drops. If nobody wants bitcoin, scarcity doesn’t matter, price = supply and demand. Also, lost coins can hurt if a big holder dies and coins are lost, that’s liquidity permanently removed. The core difference is that SHA-256 encryption etc cannot be broken by brute force. since BTC uses ASIC (Application specifici integrated circuit) - not consumer level processors.

The truth is that one got to always stay positive and hope for the best, regardless of the fact that the future is unknown, but there is every possibility that it will be of great benefit to people more than the way it is now and might even create more room for adoption in subsequent time. So, those who are interested to know and learn more about Bitcoin and its importance ought to see it as long-term store of value, so they are not to be dismayed by the opinions of others or the temporary/ short-term market reaction.

It very important We should separate lost coins from a failing Bitcoin network, even though a lot of coin have being lost. Bitcoin can still  be working because it secure by nodes and miners, not by coin being used. And Bitcoin can also be sub divided into small units, unit like satoshis, so having few coins in circulation does not stop the use.

My own opinion, I would say the question should be does our future generations value Bitcoin for it decentralization? And Having a fixed supply. If they will do value it then lost coin won't be a problem but a normal part of Bitcoin, so it won't be a threat 

Yes, Bitcoin will most likely survive and continue to exist as long as we can imagine because Satoshi designed it to be durable. The reason I am so confident Bitcoin will continue to exist is not because of its price, but because of its network. As long as there is internet, electricity and at least 1 node running, Bitcoin will remain alive because its code is open source, no one can shut it down. Banks and companies may go bankrupt, but the Bitcoin Protocol has been running since 2009 without a single second of downtime

Aren't there already many incidents of lost private keys, say 3 to 4 million Bitcoins have been lost forever, for example, like Satoshi's coins (I include them here because since he disappeared, he has never appeared again until now), which are stored on hard drives that have been thrown away or lost and people who have died but did not pass on the seed phrase to the next generation. Due to how life can be unpredictable, I think people are learning and making plans to manage their bitcoin so that in case anything happens to them, their loved ones can inherit their bitcoin investments. I'm sure in the early days of bitcoin, many lost their bitcoin for various reasons, and even if people will lose bitcoin now and in the future, the rate won't be as high compared to the early days.

I understand your concerns, but I do not agree with one thing. The fact that institutional investors hold more Bitcoin and individuals tend to deal with these institutions more does not automatically make Bitcoin itself centralized. You said decentralization will become a legend from the past. How possible is it that EVERYONE will choose centralized platforms and ignore decentralization, even when Bitcoin's model remains decentralized and they could still directly invest in Bitcoin?

Well, the worry that in the next generation, people may not treat self-custody as important is still a valid concern. That is why we must seize every opportunity now to encourage Bitcoiners to practice self-custody. The knowledge passed on now and always will be very useful to the next set of people who adopt Bitcoin.

Bitcoin will still be decentralized and valuable in the future; it's just that we may have two major sets of investors: centralized investors and decentralized investors.
