When you sell early it makes you lose your future long-term gain that is driven by scarcity since the value will continue rising  by pushing prices higher over many circles , it make you pay higher short-term capital gains tax  and also keeps you at the edge of the wall to be confused of what to do because at any increase in time you start regretting your actions because then it will be too expensive for you to buy and start from the scratch.

It is always good you invest in Bitcoin for a long term and not a short term in other to get a good profit at the end of your overaccumulation stage.

If you want to maximize your future profits, hence selling early should be avoided. I don't mean to say selling shouldn't be done, but any investor can take part in selling a portion of his bitcoin when the market is favorable to sell, but not selling all his bitcoins in just a single span of time because he will definitely lost all his chances to gain maximum future outcome of his bitcoin investment.

We all regretted selling at some point. Bitcoin was still new and the price hadn't really settled yet. There was huge potential for it to go up. There's nothing to regret anymore. I consider "selling Bitcoin too early" in two contexts

1. Selling it after a short time after buying and holding but with very good ROI. It's for situation when people have very good entries, then the market has a big bull run very short time later like several months. It's not bad to do that if you can especially if you don't plan to hold your coins for two or three market cycles.

2. Selling it for loss or very small profit but after a considerable time of buying and holding. It's for people who bought at top of a previous market cycle, then have to hold their position through a bear market like 2 years but can not hold, and sell their bitcoins when price just reach to ATH, break it a little bit. It's not a thing to do with Bitcoin investors because Bitcoin if breaking its previous ATH of a previous market cycle will make a very big bull run with high ROI.
