As for Bitcoin a high-value asset which often compared to gold the verifying is very easy, where we only need to check it on-chain because Bitcoin is so transparent. So I personally think that no other high-value asset can compare to Bitcoin in terms of the ease of verifying its authenticity. Do you know of any other high-value assets that can be verified as easily as Bitcoin? Please share your thoughts as well.
Yes, Bitcoin is a high value asset that authenticity can be easily verified, although there other assets, physical and online, but since we are talking about very high value asset, I rather not talk about them.
You can easily verified Bitcoin authenticity but I'll tell you what you can't authenticate the owner, you know just like gold if someone sells a stolen gold to you, you are scameed if the owner traces you and now you have lost money.
In the case of Bitcoin there several ways you can get scamed just by believing someone has an amount of Bitcoin, I can show you an address and tell you I own this Bitcoin tis amount of Bitcoin and you can believe me and say, yoo this person is rich and at the end Ill get your trust to invest in me, or get some other advantage just because I showed you someone else's address
So when it comes to authenticity Bitcoin also has some down sides too even if I didn't get to mention all
