I agree with you that learning about Bitcoin for minor can help gain some useful ideas about technology and money earlier than many others. I probably wouldn't start with investment. Because at an age when he doesn't have his own income, doesn't have to manage his own expenses, and doesn't understand how discretionary income is generated, discussing Bitcoin's price or profit might make him think that Bitcoin is an asset that increases in value over time.
Minors should be taught what Bitcoin actually is, how to make peer-to-peer transactions, what private keys are, why seed phrases are important, and how blockchain works. We should discuss investment with him only when he understands income, expenses, and his own responsibilities.
If we can explain investment to him at the beginning, he might think that if he doesn't accumulate Bitcoin, he might fall behind the others . This kind of urgency won't be right before he has developed his own earning capacity. Because creating too much desire for investment without having the ability to invest can lead to frustration. To me, that's a more balanced Bitcoin education for minors.
As much as i am in agreement with most of the point you made, i think the only part that i think differently from you is the idea of not explaining the investment aspect to minors, i think explaining or informing them about its investment at that early age will shape them greatly in management of fund, and prepare their mind as they are growing, instead of spending lavishly like there other peers or spending on unnecessary items they tends to reason and explore the investment opportunities in the bitcoin sectors. that will definitely put them ahead of their mate in so many achievement in live.
I said that if the investment issues are explained to the minors at the beginning, then the get mindset the tendency to get rich quickly . Which can force them to see the wrong concept. When they grow a little older, they will be able to do risk management, so much capacity will be developed in them that they can get the right idea about risk management. Then the possibility of making mistakes in the beginning will be reduced. Because at a young age, emotions are high. I am not saying to stop minors from investing. I want to explain this so that they do not start investing incorrectly too early.
It seems more logical to me to teach the ownership, security and technology side of Bitcoin rather than the investment side. Then, when they grow a little older, money management can be taught. They will know about income, expenses, saving, emergency fund, discretionary income and will gain an idea about how to DCAing. So, minors should learn these things gradually with their age, taking some time.
