I don't think there is any doubt that education should be given first priority. Particularly in the case of children. While it may be a fine opportunity for many to discover about money and technology and wallets and private keys and financial responsibility. They must be taught not that Bitcoin is a get rich scheme. The key to helping them understand potential and risk lies in the guidance and understanding they can receive from their parents. But some age restrictions are also worth keeping in mind. And sometimes parents will need to step in if they wish to purchase or keep Bitcoin. I think it's more important to learn how to save money and not be scammed at that age then making money. They will be able to decide what to do when they are adults. With much better knowledge of Bitcoin.

If a minor understands fiat and understand why bitcoin is important then i dont think this should be a thing to debate for. If it is a minor that doesn't understand bitcoin then i will say Bitcoin is not for a minor with that level of understanding and if it is a minor that understand how things work then they are free to have Bitcoin.  We shouldn’t generalise as if all minors are the same.  Their are smart minors who are into technology and even the technical of bitcoin. But as fir minors who haven't developed the level of understanding to handle bitcoin parents should not force them. Parents should watch the level of understanding of their kids first before making plans to introduce them to bitcoin.

There's nothing that prevents minors from using Bitcoin. This has already been discussed before. The problem is that most minors use Bitcoin irresponsibly. Like they use their parents' money to invest in Bitcoin, and then lose it all due to scams or market volatility. Since Bitcoin mimics cash, minors can use BTC anywhere without going through KYC. Except centralized exchanges, of course. Some gambling sites are KYC-free, allowing minors to place their bets using BTC.

A minor using Bitcoin responsibly, could be off to a good start. He/she can start stacking sats now to build a nice nest egg in the future. Perhaps, it may be a good idea to bring more minors into Bitcoin. Great for its long-term adoption, imo.

I'm okay with minors learning about bitcoin. But they should be introduced to it first since they should not be under the control of funds without proper instruction. While Bitcoin can provide kids with many valuable lessons to learn about saving. Technology ownership and financial responsibility. Children may not fully appreciate the consequences of losing a seed phrase or making investment decisions based upon their emotions. Explain both opportunities and risks. Parents can allow the child to learn slowly. Early exposure can be helpful but as a technology and long term investment. Not a get rich scheme.

I agree with you, it depends on parents, not all parents will allow their kids to learn about bitcoin because they believe that they are not intelligent enough to understand, some parents will prefer going to school and study than doing that in young age, most of countries will not allow it because some parents value education more than looking for a way to make money at such young age.

In my country, no parents will do  that, because even education sometimes become a problem, many of us have grown up before we know about bitcoin, it will be a good idea for every parent to teach their kids about bitcoin, most especially the parents who know about bitcoin, because we don’t know what the future holds, we can’t rely depend on education without not knowing about how to earn money from another way, some will have money without knowing how to manage it, but with the help of bitcoin they can become a successful person in the future.

In some developing countries I have never seen minors already involved with bitcoin, but from what I have watched like Western countries or from some fleeting footage already many minors involved even know how bitcoin works. Perhaps due to the influence of their modern parents, the environment, financial literacy, who are culturally aware of technological progress. While in a country that is still minimal, there are not many children who can be found who really understand the benefits of holding and investing in bitcoin.

Yes, the knowledge of Bitcoin is for everyone including minors, they can understand the use of Bitcoin for different purposes especially financial freedom then start investing when they're of age to work and earn. The knowledge of Bitcoin at an early age is a big advantage cause before the child gets to adult age such child would fully understand how to become a successful Bitcoin investor, including managing it properly and security.

As far as I have experienced since the day I have been in the crypto space, what i analysed is that if you want to start Bitcoin mining, then you really need to acquire good knowledge about the mining space. As for this, you really need to gather technical information and knowledge about the blockchain and Bitcoin network.

You need to learn how to find or calculate the complexity of the network.
What are nodes? What is the current reward per block....

And learning about many such terms can help you a lot if you are going to start your mining journey.

Well, let me ask you some questions... Don't you need a good power system that will further be connect with network to start mining? Does it come for free? Obviously not? How will you cover your energy consumption cost? Does it come for free? Obviously not.

I know maybe you are thinking about alternatives to cover the cost of energy, like solar panel, is solar panels come for free, haha? Obviously not...

So either you are investing in bitcoin or want to start bitcoin mining, you will need money... But at the initial stages of bitcoin mining, you just need to invest one time, and with the passage of time, your money will be recovered. CMIIW!

It's true that it's a matter of choice but most kids don't understand why Bitcoin was created asides it being a digital currency so if their parents can explain what Bitcoin is all about and give them reasons why it's beneficial for their future and doesn't stops them from actualizing their dreams cause a racer, musician or doctor can still invest in Bitcoin, i believe they'll pick interest in learning about it.

Passing the knowledge of Bitcoin is the best thing any parent would do to their kids cause it would help them understand it better before they get to the age of investing and properly manage the coin that would be passed to them as inheritance.

You know presently childrens of nowadays are very sharp in grabbing things easily. Introducing them into bitcoin is good, buy we should not rush them into bitcoin buying and selling or investment at the ealy age, preferably I do believed on teaching them how valuable money Is and the most importants benefits of savings money for future purposes, the bitcoin securities, what to avoid and what to accept, in order to prevent themselves from a scammers. Note that, not all children can have a brain capacity to understand every key points being shared, but at least from age of 15 or teenager's age are the only who can easily develop intrest in bitcoin, depending on how everything was being explain to them. And once they acquired the basics knowledge about Bitcoin, trust me that would stay in thier brain in life, and teaching a children about bitcoin is actually not easy also, because they can be more excited when they see the bitcoin price while forgotten the risks behind. Moreover the knowledge will surely help them to become perfect in making any financial decisions for themselves, especially when they are older enough to keep or control thier funds.
