Whether you admit it or not, the truth is profit is probably the biggest reason most of us are here and still holding Bitcoin.
Without the volatility and the profit, idk how many of us would even care about it or still be around by now tbh.
Bitcoin's volatility doesn't really scare people off either. If anything, it makes them even more interested, cuz they can use those swings to make bigger profits. That's also why when Bitcoin gets more stable and the profit range starts getting smaller, a lot of people start getting disappointed.
You seem to forget that those swings as you call them doesnt always come in a way people can make profits. Weve seen times where people due to FOMO, end up buying bitcoin at its ATH, expecting the price to swing higher and then in matter of days, we are seeing over 20%+ decline, which means losses for them, and those who lacks knowledge of bitcoin or the conviction are pushed to selling off their coins with the mindset of saving whats left. We see this all the time so dont say it like everyone actually profits from these swings.
Again, Im not disputing the fact that people, most people are in for the profits, but the mindset is what makes the difference, whether its short term profits or long term, and this is what automatically influences every investors decision. I dont know how youre not comprehending the point Im trying to make here.
