I have been longing to ask; it seems that what is regarded as bitcoin adoption have shifted from every day utility to institutional involvement.
If institutions hold billions in bitcoin waiting for the right time to sell, is it a better adoption than widespread every day usage?
By institutional Involvement I meant; Institutional investors, ETFs, companies holding bitcoin, banks in bitcoin;
While,
By everyday utility I meant; people using bitcoin for payments, casinos accepting bitcoin, remittances, cross-border payments etc.
It seems too many people don't like the involvement of those institutions in Bitcoin, but why though? Their involvement ruins nothing on Bitcoin, we had a new all time high anyways and we are slowly going up a again now.
What am I missing out here? You want to scope up all Bitcoin and you are pissed that the institutions are buying every Bitcoin? Nothing is burnt off Bitcoin because of institutions involvement.
You can still use Bitcoin as your bank, you can use it as your payment solutions, cross border payment still works, although some part are cut out if that's what you are talking about, about this I believe a better cross border solution will come.
