For sure this was still the best thing to do long term since there was no guaranteed on Bitcoin investment, we are even not sure if Bitcoin is still going to exist in the coming years so it's still a good thing to still stack up or save cash for long term emergencies, maybe change of plan? complete that emergency funds and then invest it all on Bitcoin, I do not mean to make it your Bitcoin investment, it is still your emergency you just convert it on Bitcoin and put it on seperate wallet?

You mentioned that it is wise to have an emergency fund first, since there are no guarantees regarding the future of BTC. Afterward, you suggested changing the plan, shifting from building an emergency fund to buying BTC & using that as my emergency fund, isn't that a contradiction?

To me, it’s a contradiction, FIAT needs to remain as an emergency fund, especially since the country where I live prohibits BTC as legal tender, we don't live in El Salvador. Smiley
