I'm not sure if Bitcoin will last forever --- after all, everything will eventually come to an end. But for now, it's not reasonable to say that Bitcoin is going to die. That FUD is just spread by certain people to scare others, especially when the market is bearish; it makes it easier for them to target Bitcoin because its position is lower and it might make people more worried.
But what's certain is that Bitcoin will only get stronger and keep growing over time. Just look at how Bitcoin has grown rapidly even from the Mt. Gox exchange hack and other similar incidents that had a major impact on Bitcoin's price. All of this proves how strong Bitcoin's fundamentals are.
Exchange hacks alone did most of the damage before 2021, or we can say before 2024 when the ETFs were approved, because after the approval and acceptance by governments, no one is objecting to these centralized exchanges anymore. These exchanges bring customer data to the government on a plate and governments then eat it haha.
So that's why exchanges are way more stable now as far as I can see. It's the non custodial services which are now under attack, and unlike CEXs, DEXs and no KYC platforms don't have any coalition. They instead compete with each other, but maybe they won't support each other either, as I have not seen a single case of them supporting each other.
But yes, no matter what, the fundamentals of BTC are strong, and that's because of the community too.
