    Hello Diamond community.

    I’m hoping to partake in the PoS part of keeping the network secure.
    What is the number of DMD coins that I need to make it worth while? What should be my expected ‘dividend’?

    Two things I’m hoping I can get assistance on.
    How do I get a DMD wallet up and running on Ubuntu (17.04)?
    How do I import my existing wallet address?
    How do I setup the wallet to run as a deamon on Ubuntu for staking so that it comes on automatically when my machine boots up.

    I’m no Unix expert, so if you have very simple/outlined steps, that would be greatly appreciated.

    Looking forward to being part of the DMD community.

    If this is right, I really have to wonder why, because the owners are losing lots of DMD and it makes PoS unnecessarily hard for others.
    Its pretty hard to compete with
    Rich 1 and Rich 3,etc,in 630 blocks per day, of which only 518 diamonds get to be  split among the 35 percent club.
    And 962 diamonds  are for the Masternode 65 percent club..   Huh
    105 Masternodes.. About 9+ a day as stated earlier.
    200 Masternodes.. About 4+ a day...LOL

    Could be that you reach ROI, so now you receive only (we can call it) a lifetime small amount, but forget about big payouts as the boost system works only until the user will receive the full amount invested back (ROI) normally in near a year.

    So if your investment is one year old (or more) is quite normal that now you will receive only small amounts.

    Everyone decides what to do with their coins.
    You can participate in POS minting or not to participate is your own business.
    In the end, the DMD created for the accumulation of wealth, so some people just converting a portion of their finances to Diamond.

    If you are not able to understand how it works, you might want to find another coin.

    I feel your pain bro.

    If you take a step back though and think about it. Every 1 DMD has exactly same chance as other 1 DMD.

    Now some people are going to have more DMD, they buy them up and this makes your DMD more valuable as well.

    It does appear that these rich people are sucking up everything but they have just accumulated more DMD!

    After all its called Diamond coin not Commie coin!!

    How would this play out if say more than 1000 people use diamond , there wouldnt be enought blocks for everyone to get even .8 per day?

    who say everyone have to find a block each day?

    bitcoin produce on average 144 block a day

    does that mean there only 144 bitcoin users or 144 bitcoin miners?

    0.8 per day is a 300 per year. To have that amount you need more than 1k dmd active in pos mode. For example now there are ~2.5 mln coins. ~1.1 mln in masternode mode. So theoretic ~1.4 mln in pos but not every holder have an apportunity to run wallet 24/7, someone prefere to trade on exchange instead of stake etc. All coins in pos mode mints ~640*0.82=525 dmd per day. So your_dmd*525/all_coins_in_stake_mode is your profit per day in longterm period.

    I followed the manual, step by step. Until Point #15 everything worked well.

    ./autogen.sh is already creating some errors I do not understand, cause directory is there! Subdir-objects?
    make command at the end doesn't work, cause there is no make file??

    I followed the manual, step by step. Until Point #15 everything worked well.

    ./autogen.sh is already creating some errors I do not understand, cause directory is there! Subdir-objects?
    make command at the end doesn't work, cause there is no make file??

    What does that mean? Maybe someone can help?
